So I started on the Keyaki server in JMS at the end of July. I tried to get as many characters as I could up and running during the inital event and then move from there, keeping them at relatively same levels.

What I've done is taken current info on my character and put it out there. The good, the bad, the ugly, who, where, what, why, when, how much, so on and so forth.

Quick little question for you folks;

I am new to the Bandit life, so if a Shinkita (with Weap Atk of 64 (Average is 62)) clean (non scrolled, 7 slots available) is going for one million mesos, & I happened to have bought it, did I get ripped off, or is the other person letting me get away with a steal?

I checked Basil but checking prices there is sort of moronic, because everyone is trying to get a bargain for their buck.

Any clue?

Also, just where in the @#% do Bandits of level 31 train at? (No work glove or special equips.)

Toy Factory: Process 1, Zone 2. One hell of a map to train on if you're a bandit. Even with my 54 attack Wagner, I gained 5% on three Warrior Pills. Warrior Pills last 10 minutes, so that's 5% every half hour, meaning the hourly gain is 10% per hour, meaning it would only take 10 hours to level from 0%!
Not only that, but you'll find a lot of Elixirs and LUK Crystal Ores, and the Panda Teddies might even drop a Dragon Toenail!

Okay, so, this is going to be a weird entry, BUT, I'm a big scroller through this community.

NO, kidding, not that kind of scrolling, I meant, I like to zip past enteries via my mouse scroll ball. While I can still do this, why the heck is it so slow? The main page loads slow too. Is it the layout, the content, what, what is it? TELL ME. I'm dying to know if I can fix it or if it's a maplecomm thing & I should just sit back & shut up.


Now, for my next paragraph, I'm a level 27 bandit-to-be & would like to find a Kerning PQ with at least one intelligent, I'll even be loose with this, just have a pulse & speak some sort of Engrish, in. I've been warned numerous times about how expensive Getas are, and as I'm moving up from lv 45, I started thinking... Should I try and buy one now? Inflation is bound to increase by the time I'm level 60 and actually able to use said Geta.

While in the godforsaken free market, full of it's ELVES and MUSHROOMS, I noticed a few places selling above-average Getas for 4-5 million. Then; I saw some average ones, priced at 999,999 mesos. This got me thinking, perhaps I should invest in one.

BUT... Should I? Should I buy an average one now, or fight boars and kitties until level 50 (for the sheer profits), and just save all that until I can afford an above-average scrolled one -- OR, should I simply spend my later 50's hunting for one?

Before you smack me and say "Idiot, don't taunt the Grupins!", just so you know, if I hunt for it, I will have a Fire/Poison hybrid mage with me, assisting in the death of the large and purple-tinted.

So, scrimp and save for a pre-scrolled one, or hunt for my own?

(and now if anyone out there wants to say "if you think a few million for a Geta is bad, wait 'til you need a DT!" I will say this... I ALREADY HAVE A DT, SO HA.)

Quick question for the Dits of hardcore awesome here on the comm.

I'm level 45; what are the best things for me to be training on at this time? SB is lv 24 and my mastery is 20.

I can OHKO plenty of things (Jr.Kitties, Ticks, Pink and Brown teddies), and I know by this point to kill only what I can kill in 1 or 2 hits -- but, I want to know what the BEST thing for me to kill is. Is there some hidden mecca of exp for a dit at this level? Are there magic SUPER-STIRGES hiding somewhere?

So, have at it. What is the best thing for a level 45 Dit to kill?

I'm equipped with a clean Maple Wagner (will be scrolling as soon as I have the money to do so). Dex is 80, Luk is 165 (156+9).

So, tell me what to smack in the face six times :D

Yesterday I finally reached level 60 after almost a year! I train slow, I know, it's my first character.

So right now I'm training on Dark stone golems, which I 2 hit, and lunar pixies which I ohko. =D Level 60-63 are going to be SICK. Oh, and level 60 gear sucks, I'm skipping it totally. It just doesn't match at all. I'm sticking with my blue china set -which has better stats-, and use my level 60 pants (which are scrolled +20 hp, 51 def, 6 m.def) for training. Doesn't look very pretty, but it works!

So. I finally made it to level 30.

In celebration Ko and I squiggled into the depths of time to get ourselves killed. :B

I attempted to sneak by a Deep Buffoon, however after barely touching pixels I fell and died instantly.
Ko, who had dark sight, managed to go down a bit further, died by Gate keeper, also dying instantly.

We have vowed to one day kill the Gate Keeper together. ♥

I've also updated my "MS - Squee!" icon. :B

Training on monsters that take more than one Savage Blow to kill: Yay or nay?
I ask this because once I hit level 53, I'll get less than 0.01% per kill from Scuba Pepes, and there's no stronger monster that I can one-hit.

So I'm about to hit 70, yay finally i'll be a CB xD.

The problem is I'll have 8 more skill points left over and I dont know what i should do with them. Initially I thought I should just dump them into steal but i wondered if putting them into keen eyes and maybe 1 lucky 7 might be useful later? Cause I got bored and I felt like getting a claw and some stars. I dunno, cause steal seems useless to me at this point, i never use it and i'd much rather be having fun with a weird chief bandit with lucky 7 than being bored and regretful for being so pedantic ><

Pros and cons, and please dont flame me for even thinking about getting lucky 7.

So I've tried to think of original builds, and i think i may have one.

Now that the higher levels are upon, well, me -- I have decided to start capping my DEX like, nao.

I just have a few questions about equipping dex gear.

Say I have, a + 5 DEX Cape, + 5 DEX Wagner. And, I have level 70 gear that requires 110 DEX. My two equips + 10 dex top, and + 5 dex bottom. And I want to equip my Kandine that requires 120 DEX.

Okay, first I'm going to equip the Wagner and Cape. Thus giving me 110 DEX. (I have base 100). I will that be able to equip my +15 DEX Top and Bottom. Giving me 125 Dex. Can I then replace the wagner with my Kandine? Or will that like, unshift everything and cause it all to be pointless.

I know there was overlap, but I don't know exactly when the situation occurs.

Level 80 is treating me well. I started off as quite the lonely pirate, but I've met quite a bunch of people lately, and also my real life friends have started playing again! Maple is more fun with variation, and random parties are fun when I don't feel like grinding away.

However what almost feels like a break from grinding, I've hopped on the viking boat! Sort of. Who knew I'd be training on them in my 80s? It took some trial and error so I wouldn't die every 5 minutes (hey, that's how I started out pretty much) but it's awesome. It turns out it's actually a semi-popular thing for bandits around level 85 with a build close to mine... how coincidental! So maybe I'm crazy, but so far I'm liking it there. It sort of takes away from the safe "one hit kill, nothing ever hits me" training that I had been doing before. =p


I learned a new trick today at Vikings.. there are (I believe) two platforms which meso explosion clears most efficiently at, but on the topmost explosion-only I realized you can do assaulter there, just if you mess up you land on top of the viking~ I took a little video of it, just becuase I can. HARDCORE MUSIC YOU GUYS. I'M EXTREME.


On a random note, while mentioning a video, on the topic of the pirate video that I said I'm going to be making with you guys, I'm afraid it will have to be put off until next week. I thought I'd have a bit more spare time than I actually did, but I will have plenty next week. I'm going away for the weekend and don't have as much time lately, but I'll be off work for two weeks afterwards so there will be plenty of time to get things going. :)

Scrolling is fun... comes level 80, and in with the Dragon Tail scrolling! I started off with a 96 attack +6 luk one which I bought in the free market who knows how long ago.. I figured it was a decent start. My goal is to get something 100+
Then my first try, I went for an 84 clean one, and my first 10 worked. Then four 60s worked and two failed. 97 attack and 7 luk is pleasing!
The same thing happened with the next one, except since the base was 86 I ended up with 99 attack. Groovy beans!
I've only done those two so far, but I'm very happy that two out of two so far have turned out so well. The 10 is the key! I'm still not in a super-rich mood where I can spend a lot on a high-base-attack one and try a 10 on it, but I know the day will come eventually.. maybe after I sell my stuff. :D
I still also would like to try all 10%s on one. It's adventurous, but I think I'll be crazy enough to do that one day.

Hello Bera (Chief) Bandits! I have two daggers for sale:

Kandine: 87 attack, 5 luk. Hoping for 9milish?
Dragon Tail: 96 attack, 6 luk. Hoping for uh.. I dunno. 11milish maybe? o.o

I'm not entirely sure if that's what I should be selling them for or not xD As always I'm freely negotiable and such, I'll probably be trying to sell these as quickly as possible. Judging from the Roster it isn't looking like there will be too much interest in these, but if so then shout at me so I know not to toss them out into the rest of the market. Probably megaphoning them out tomorrow if I feel like it, so if you want something act fast~

Bleck. Well I might've made the nice transition to becoming a lvl 60 bandit but I have absolutely no idea where to train. I want efficiency, not really money or drops...

I can kill darkstone golems in two savage blows and the same with zombies(cept the spawn really sucks for dsg)

my dmg range is roughly around 500 to 850 and basically i'm doing normal 500s and 400s with my savage blow hits. 600s if i'm lucky. So i'm doin like 2.8k average. Any ideas on where to train? Oh and what are my chances on becoming a chief bandit by the end of august give or take...?
