Hi, and welcome to maouismycopilot, a general comm for all things Kyou Kara Maou. Your mods for this evening are katmaxwell, biztheinsane, and cacklebang; we're generally pretty cool, and will only get annoyed if you break one of the rules of the comm. That's right, rules! They are as follows:

1. Play nice with the other children. Do not flame, troll, cause havoc, etc. for any reason whatsoever. If you've got a problem with someone, please contact one of the mods: there are three of us, and we can be contacted with the information in this post.

2. Post fic, art, questions, etc. -- anything that strikes your fancy, for that's what this comm's for. Do not make introduction posts that are simply introduction posts; this is not because we hate you, but because they can get fairly spam-y and we're going to meet you anyway. We encourage you to head on over to this post if you still feel the need to get to know people, and to post a little bit about yourself! :D

As far as posting such things goes, there is no set format aside from giving a warning and/or rating to what is contained within your fanworks. Title, author, summary, notes, etc. are all up to you; but please make sure you post a clear rating. People don't want to accidentally click something they don't want to see.

Also, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE lj-cut anything that could warp people's flists, etc. If you have fic, lj-cut it. If you have art, lj-cut it. Live it, love it.

Crossposting may be a problem, but we do not see it being so. We aren't going to control your posting habits! Please make a note of where you crossposted whatever you have, however.

3. This is not a comm for requests. We recommend kkm_media if you're looking to request episodes, as it was created to facilitate this. If someone uploads episodes/manga/etc. and wishes to post them to the comm, please do so! Just make sure that you lock the post.

This is also not a place for advertisements. Do you have a new character community? Great, pimp it here. Have you just created a multifandom RPG and you want to get new players? This is not the place to make posts advertising for it; there are places to do so on LJ that are not this comm. This coincides with the next rule quite nicely:

4. This comm is meant only to be about Kyou Kara Maou, in all of its forms (novel, manga, anime, etc.). You are not to ask for general Livejournal help, or for anything not relating to KKM. We recommend searching the FAQ for answers to any questions you may have, or one of the many communities dedicated to answering such questions.

5. Please lock any posts regarding fansubs, as the anime is licensed. The manga as of yet is not, so there is no need to lock posts regarding scanlations unless you wish to.

6. Kyou Kara Maou, while no longer being aired in Japan (yes, it is over and topped out at 78 episodes!), is still neither completely fansubtitled nor dubbed. Please cut anything that could be considered a spoiler using an lj-cut. We don't want to have a "ANYTHING AFTER [insert episode here] IS A SPOILER" rule, so please just use your common sense. :) If you're worried about it being a spoiler, then just cut it anyway to be safe!

7. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE OF ALL. OKAY? OKAY.

Everyone has different likes. Everyone has different favorite this, and least favorite that. Prejudice, discrimination, bold insults, etc. will NOT BE TOLERATED HERE. If you don't like a character, then you don't like a character. This is not the place for you to wax poetic about how much you despise this character. Make your own post in your own journal so we don't have to deal with the fallout.

Similarly, we do not expect this comm to become polarized. We are greatly against this. We all have our different interests, and while they are decidedly not anything that we hide, we also make a point to not discriminate against other people and their opinions. We expect you to do the same. The homogenous thing that happens a lot in other communities? We don't want that here. We want variety. If you have Conrad/KG fic, we want you to post it. If you have Cheri/Daikenja art, we want you to post it. If you somehow find a way to write believable Wolfram het, we want you to post it. (Really. Please. Omg. ♥)

We want this comm to be open and welcoming to everyone. Please behave accordingly. We feel that these rules are easy to follow and there should not be any problems regarding any of them -- if you feel otherwise, please feel free to contact one of us. If you happen to violate one of these rules, we will warn you and/or freeze/delete the corresponding comment/post -- and depending on the offense we will ban you; but really, we don't want to be dictators here. Just play nice and play smart, and everything'll get along fine.
