Notes: The title comes from the legend of Chinese Fu Dogs, which were powerful, mythic guardians and protectors of homes and holy sites. The female was generally shown with her paw resting on a cub, as a symbol of protecting those who were inside the structures. Many thanks to texanfan for helping this not suck.
