Hello! I want to make it this clear : Even though manips are mostly used for porn, slash, het anything sexual and we love it, you have to keep your teasers on a responsible level. I'm not talking about the amount, I'm talking about the concept.

Please do NOT post teasers that are not work safe. People may look at their flist at everywhere and this is a playground which has the rule of "all for one, one for all" okay?

We think, making manips is an art. You have to know the picture, get used to it, choose the right picture, right angle, right size, and then, effects.

This is all an art.

And art, with artists, need support. Artists should see how others do this, would like to know how their work seems on a third eye.

Here, on

manipped, you can show your art. And see the others.

~~ RULES ~~

There are two sets of rules.

A. For manips.

1. You CAN NOT post the manipulations that you did NOT make. This means, if you didn't make it, you can't post it.
2. Manips(=Manipulations) means that you delete a part of one picture, you cut some part of a second picture, and combine them together. Blends are NOT manips. (In the most common way, people delete someone's head, and put a new head to that body.) You can ONLY post manips.
3.Icons featuring manips are fine, walls featuring manips are fine, headers featuring manips are fine, etc featuring manips are fine. But remember, you have to do the MANIP yourself. If you make a wall-icon-header-etc of a manip that an other person did, you can NOT post it here.

B. For posting.

Posts in this community are moderated. This means, one of the moderators has to approve your post.

This means, if you don't follow the rules, no one will see that post.

1. Thumbnails are ALLOWED. Yes, you can put a thumbnail, and then a lj-cut, fake or real, your choice. But please be considerate about the size and dimensions of your thumbnail.
2. On the subject line, please write the fandom.
(example : Alias, Celebrities, HP, LOTR, Fiction-manip.)
3. Yes, fiction based manips are ALLOWED. The keyword here is 'manips', not 'fandoms'. You don't have to explain the fic, or your choice, just write the right subject.
4. If your manip contains nudity, please be wise. Don't use thumbnails, and on your entry or lj-cut, notify us about the "NOT WORK/SCHOOL SAFE"ity.
5. And lastly, put the REAL picture on your entry. You don't have to make it big if you don't want, just a smaller size would be enough too, but let moderators and people see/know that it is a manip. Sometimes you may not feel you did good, but seeing the original, you may have done good.
