Weekly Toranoana Doujin Rankings ~ May 19, 2007
The latest Toranoana's Top 10 is out and even though the last big Tokyo con Super ComicCity is now fading in people's memories, the hottest books sold there are now starting to really find their way into comic shops across the country. The circles might sound familiar but what I tend to value in these lists is reading the current trends in fandom. "What genres are big?" "What properties are being parodied?" Those details might not seem significant now but in the long run they might determine what gets adapted into anime and eventually what gets licensed in the West.
