AnimeWorks had a panel... but once again flaked!! Two years in a row!! Will they go for the three year sweep next year?? WTF!

Any whozzle... The word on the floor was that they have formally dropped Pilgrim Jager but I was told they couldn't say who is going after it. Yeah I didn't know whether I had to punch someone or jump for joy. Eiken is coming back for sure but they have not announced a date yet.

And they have one new title. Or at least I think it's new.

They had it licensed back in October when they announced Thunderbolt Boys Excite and Pleasure Some, but didn't make a very big deal of it.

Yeah I recall the mention...I guess BLU is the only 'traditional licensor' who announced anything new this year? :/ Color me sentimental, but I love Futaba/Mitsuba, and I know their title West End really isn't popular with the US ‘anti-non-con & -stop-the-weepy-ukes’ crowds, nor is it 'explicit enough' for the faction of the underage fen with their serious case of porn-entitlement; but gee-whizz I'd love to see it licensed. Volumes 7/8 were more sci-fi than BL, and looked so interesting.

As for BeBe, I can only shake my head; it's like same shit-different Con-though I’ll be buying Midare. ^^v Remember back in the day when Top 40 Radio overloaded on the song Valley-Girl? Every time you heard it start, you just wanted to stop your car, rip your radio out by the roots, and chuck it through your open window. That's what I feel like whenever I see con-announcement starting with ‘Be Beautiful’.
I swear, if I hear about how Biblos's and Musicland's bankruptcy dented their rep one more time--I'm going to smack a bitch.
