I drew this a few weeks ago, but I'm only getting around to posting it now. I hope you like it!

The image is my main character Grey from my web-comic entitled Miss Grey. If you think she looks a little dead, well that means I got my point across! Within the comic's universe she's a reaper of rebellious angels and demons. She isn't the cheeriest character ever to grace pages I've penciled and inked.

Anyway, I thought I would share! I always love constructive critisim on my work, it helps me grow as an artist! Personally I think I draw rather plainly and would love to improve that.

Hey everyone,

I'm new to this community on LJ, so let me do a quick intro of myself.

I'm a web comic illustrator/writer who currently posts all my art goodies to see on Drunk Duck. My main two comics are Miss Grey and Rayne of Terror. I also have a deviantArt account as katsudesu, as well as a Comic Space account as Katsu_manga.

I've drawn comics since the seventh grade, but only got into manga since 2003. I used to live in Nagoya, Japan attending Nanzan University. I used to be in their manga circle. I hope to one day be a published comicbook illustrator/writer besides just on the internet.

Vancouver Manga Artist Meet-Up

For all those interested, we’ve started a Meet-up group for all manga artists in the Vancouver area. A brief description and the link to more information follows:

Goal:

A workshop and discussion group for manga artists to come and experiment with manga art and story writing techniques and develop their manga creation skills. The goal is to grow.

v Meet other manga artist in the local community.

v Learn about different processes and techniques that other artists apply to their work

v Experiment and work with other manga artists in creative jams.

v Motivation to practice and develop in many different areas of manga art creation.

Schedule:

Starts June 8^th, 2008

Every second and fourth Sunday of the month, 6pm-8pm

1 hour Discussion and Theory, 1 hour Workshop

Manga ka Unite

It's been some time since I was last on live journal.

while I was away, I've been completing a few short mangas and a web manga.
but thats not what Im talking about for today.

I'm planing to make a resource community, cause lets face it. the web is very large and can be very time consuming to find tutorials or resources to make your manga. Im sure we all want to spend less time wasting and more time creating manga. ^^

This is set to come out by mid December so keep high hopes. if you have any ideas, by all means let me know and I'll try to keep it up.

Hello, I would like to share more of my webcomic Hott :D it is a bit crazy, as it deals with gender swapping and magic. The story is still in the beta stage as I develop it further.

someday I'd like to be professional, as you can see there's alot of work to be done, but I feel that I'm not doing too bad :3

the story is still in the beta phase as there is only about 10 pages of content total, but I have a full blown universe I want to develop for it : D
