I'm obsessed with guilt-ridden Mamoru. To the Mamo-chan fans on my flist, can you ever see him wondering about the nature of his relationship with the Shitennou? Like, wondering if they see themselves more as his servants or as his friends?

Few notes first:
- It's massive. The full presentation is about 30 megs (10 meg animation, 20 music). If I had a better machine, I would turn it into a quicktime/flash movie to compress the size.
- Music starts automatically, and I'm probably violating a handful of web standard rules on top of that. I tried to delay it without editing the midi, but failed. If you have a computer that freezes, download each file individually and play it on your home drive.
The story:
For anyone who has ever talked to me, you probably know that I'm of the opinion that the boy has issues about self-worth. The idea that Mamoru comes to terms with his identity as heir to the Golden Kingdom has been dancing in my head for a while. In the following sequence, Earth offers him a choice of accepting or declining his birthright. Mamoru accepts, and the Earth acknowledges. It's A private and personal exchange that has no need for witnesses.
The results? Looks more to me like he came out of an explosion.

I've seen a couple of fanfictions portraying Haruka hating Mamoru. Where does this come from? Is there evidence in canon? I know she dislikes men, but so does Rei and she doesn't seem to hate Mamoru...

So we know the Shitennou are dead, right? Or at least in a somewhat dormant state? We also know that Mamoru can still talk to them through his psychic abilities and that they can "awaken" on their own. However, we don't see this occurring very often in the manga. It happens a total of three times. Once when Kunzite tells Tuxedo Mask how to defeat Metaria, once when Mamoru is concerned about the Black Moon Clan, and once when Mamoru is sick and dying due to the Dead Moon curse.
So my question is, do more of these conversations happen off-screen (so to speak)? What nature do you think these conversations take? Do you think Mamoru would talk to them about anything or is he weary of "waking the dead"? Do you think that the Shitennou would talk to their master about personal issues if it didn't relate directly to his destiny? Like, if something was weighing heavily on his mind that wasn't related to enemies or whatnot, would he bring it up with them or vice versa?
