AboutHello!
Sakamoto Maaya is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Kanzaki Hitomi, the main character of the anime Tenkuu no Escaflowne. Since then she has voiced characters in anime such as Clover, Cowboy Bebop, Lodoss War, and more recently in the anime version of Tsubasa Chronicle. She also has a beautiful singing voice, and often works with the famous composer Kanno Yoko. Maaya often writes her own lyrics and they are some of the most unique lyrics found in pop songs today.
