Hey everyone. Just some things to go over regarding the practice trial.

I realize that it's probably confusing already so please, any questions feel free to ask. I've tried my best to make the trial information fair and a bit simple, but remember this is my first time doing this too, so it's more than possible that I failed miserably in that regard.

I think it would be best to do the two lobby's first, then make a trial log. I will turn the current trial log into the Prosecutor's lobby log, and herrgavin's log for the defendant's lobby will be as such.

The prosecutor's lobby log is open, though Gumshoe and Franziska, who has already posted, should be there.

The defendant's lobby log is open as well, but both Kristoph and Apollo are needed.

As for the trial, I am asking you all involved when would be a good time. This week? This weekend? Next weekend? I would appreciate if everyone involved let me know please.

Also, in_your_defense's player Evee has made the coms all lovely if you haven't noticed ^^ Be sure to thank her for the wonderful job!

One last note - As we have a number of non-court/trial related characters let me know if you'd like your own plot to be arranged.

Wow I post a lot. Alright, all information has been sent out and/or posted. If you are involved in either defense or prosecution/police and can't see a post let me know.

The trial will be scheduled to begin April 26th, this saturday. The order should go something like - Opening statement of the prosecution, police witness (Gumshoe), Ivory Kaydance's testimony.

Please let me know availability. if there's a problem we can change times.

I was going to make logs of the defendant's lobby and.. wherever the prosecutor's hang out before trials (the defendant's lobby.. I'm not sure what it's called..) but since most people seem to have other logs going on I'll refrain. If you'd like to make one anyway you are more than welcome.

Hey guys, me again.

Just a few things to mention. The rp is set in Los Angeles, California so everyone knows. This is following the American games, so think of things on those terms. If that's a problem please let the mods know.

Secondly the disbarment issue. As you see we've acquired a Phoenix (hurray!), in_your_defense. As of now the disbarment will not happen. He can be accused of such, he can be brought before a committee, but for the sake of keeping the rp free of restraints the actual disbarment will not be worked towards. If anyone has an opinion on the matter they'd like to share you can comment here, or address the mods with any thoughts/complaints. I believe any discrepancies the Apollo Justice characters may have with this can be fixed, but if it's really a problem let the mods know.

Details regarding the case will be put up shortly. The only information now is it is a murder. You may have your characters have heard that Franziska and Kristoph are rumored to be going up against each other in court soon. Once I have someone for a defendant or willing to play a character for the role the plot will be concrete.

Perhaps you've heard of the conch card assassin. That would be me. I am a professional. If a client has the cash, I will kill someone for them. I am efficient, and I do not judge my client's intentions. I strongly believe in trust between myself and my client, and I never give up on a job until the contract is ended.

To those who are reading this that are concerned with the law, don't bother trying to trace this post. I am using an undetectable proxy. Even so, I still advise you not to try, unless you are interested in getting on my bad side...


I will get to the point now.

I have recently been experiencing problems with my normal outlet for procuring new clients, so I am trying something new. If you have the money for it, I will carry out a hit for you. I also take requests for the method or time of the kill, but be warned that such specifics will raise the price.

I must always meet my clients in person before a contract can me made. If you have a job for me, leave me a message here. All comments are screened and confidential. After you leave a message, please wait, and I will meet with you. I'll find you and introduce myself to you at a random time and place so that we can personally form a trust of one another. I will likely appear before you within two weeks.

If you wish to learn more about my work, I will soon be making public and untraceable journal entries about my hits. Information about my clients will be kept hidden, but I never try to disguise my own work. Please keep an eye on my journal if you are interested.

We aren't starting the case yet but everyone can start rping. It'd be fine just to get some base of where your character is, what they're doing.

I was speaking with Lisa (flawlessdefense) (who has been incredibly helpful, thank you <3) and I believe the best course of action is to do a smaller, almost practice trial before the current case. There would be no investigation, simply a practice to get everyone into the swing of things before we tried anything serious. If you agree, disagree you may post here about that.

Anyone interested in participating in this practice case may post here. If you're going to play a role in the other case then I recommend practicing in this one - especially the attorneys (which at this point looks like it's going to be Franziska and Kristoph. A rather frightening German clash in the courtroom XD) . If you're going to play the judge or a witness then this would be helpful too.
