I bought this 3 years ago and it has been sitting in my closet ever since. Brand new with tags, perfect condition. "The Assistant" by SetWear. Makeup/Hair/Stylist toolbelt, great for working on location. Black nylon type material, comes with the adjustable belt, case and extra apparatus to attach a large can of some kind of larger bottle(hairspray, a drink, etc). This item is discontinued and they no longer make anything like it. It is awesome and holds a lot of stuff, I don't really need it though because I already have brush-belts and cases that I am comfortable with. I paid about $60 for it, I'm willing to part with it for $30 plus whatever shipping is (unless you are local to Tampa, FL area and we can meet up)...

While I am not a professional make-up artist, I am a fashion designer and I find that I am in need of some assistance for an event in New York August 24th
I am looking for 1-2 Make-up artists for a Neo-Victorian/Victorian inspired fashion show

To Die For Designs will be bringing our Clothing Line to New York for the first time the weekend of August 22-24 to take part in Neo-Victorian/Victorian Themed Fashion Show at the Dances of Vice Festival's Time Travellers Ball.
I am in need of 1-2 experienced make-up artists who can handle creating Neo-Victorian/Victorian make-up for between 10-15 male and female models.

You must be available for the evening of August 24th and the show is being held at The Rebel Nightclub in NYC.

Airbrush

I have worked a few times with an airbrush on the face using a silicone based foundation, but I've never had to clean it or anything like that, since it was not mine. I recently just bought an airbrush machine, and I was asked to airbrush someone's whole body 3 or 4 shades lighter than their skin tone with Temptu's dura foundation. I guess I just want to hear some tips, tricks, and musts! I bought my machine off of ebay, and it's not spraying out so well... I'm assuming that's due to the person before not cleaning it properly. I know i just need to take the gun apart and clean it, but how do I do that once I've taken it apart and with what products? Also how do I go from using silicone based to dura... I'm scared by switching from one to the other I'd clog it.

ok, so i love my eyeliner, i wear it on the top and the bottom but no matter what it always runs! i would love to get a look like the one below but I dont know how to do that w/o it smearing everywhere! I use pencils and liquid liner.

Hello all. This is my first posting here ever besides random comments I've posted on other's photos, since the quality of work I usually see here is amazing.
I am in the finishing stages of putting together my book, so I thought I would share one image right now from my most recent shoot. The model is also wearing a custom made mesh and latex top with silk flowers that I made a few days beforehand.

Hello all! Does anyone know of a good makeup school, preferably in the new england area? I've been looking to get into interesting makeup and special effects design for a while now and am trying to decide whether relocation is necessary. I'm very curious though, where did any of you receive makeup education? Are there any schools or courses you could recomend? Anything at all which you think highly of would be greatly helpful.
