Due to recent events there's been a talk of an Atlantis movie (and more..). Basically, lots of people talk about the Stargate franchise and what will/would/should happen in said franchise.

Obviously, I'm interested what that would mean for Major Lorne.

What should happen with Major Lorne?

I hope this is okay. It's not precisely about Major Lorne, but it is about Kavan - and a rather Lorne-like character he played about six years ago.

The failed pilot for Time Tunnel - in which Kavan played a guy named Flynn - is up (for now, at least) on youTube: here. It's like a mash-up of Stargate, Quantum Leap, and maybe a little Seven Days. There's a spiffy interview with him at SF Universe: here - in which he waxes nostalgic about it. And this is quite possibly the first time ever that I sort of feel bad about FOX picking up Firefly instead.

And just to editorialize, I think it's hilarious that even in poor lighting, smoke, weird CGI, and everyone wearing identical uniforms and helmets... Flynn is easy to pick out because Kavan is just so damn short. *snort*

Hey all:

lostcityfound is running a fic battle in honor of our 3rd birthday. Prompts are being collected here until Saturday. Any het or mixed threesome (or more ;) is welcome, as are any and all gen or friendship prompts. I'd love to get a good, broad mix of characters and pairings and prompts for the battle, so please take a moment and add your own prompts to the mix. You don't need to be an LCF member to participate either suggesting prompts or writing fic.

There should totally be a lot of Lorne love in there, too. After all, he joined Atlantis about the same time the community did. And according to the poll we ran about our birthday, there seem to be quite a lot of people with a high level of interest in getting Lorne's clothes off for some reason. *g*
