Ragnarok Online is a massive multiplayer online role playing game, similar to
World of Warcraft with less intensive graphics,and GarmRO is a server that allows
you to play it for free!

GarmRO is also a "Super High Rate" server- meaning that it is really easy to level.
You can get from level 1 to level 1000 in less than 1 day! It also means there
are a lot of extra cute things that you can get that aren't available in the
regular version of the game.

Shoujo Ai Showdown

Shoujo Ai Showdown is a guild that Volk_krosh and Silencescreams created on GarmRO.

A guild is a group of players who play together, help one another, and participate in
events to win prizes on the server. Basically, a group of people who like to have
fun together!

The server has 100 registered players, and only about 15-30 are online at a time. This means
that many of the awesome anime related names are still available for use. We created
Natsuki and Shizuru, and with the "Barber" we were able to change our looks to come
fairly close to the anime versions of them.

If the name you had wanted is already taken, try another! There are plenty of characters in
the Shoujo Ai Genre.

We are inviting you to come and play the game with us,and join our Shoujo Ai guild.

Create a character with a name coming from a Shoujo Ai series (cannon or subtext), pick
a class, and join our guild! Don't worry if you're a boy or girl, you can play either sex,
and we would be more than happy to have a Reito, Nagi, or Takumi in the group. If it's
from a Shoujo Ai, it's just right!

Since the server is still working on getting more players, GirlonGirl will be kicking butts
and taking names on GarmRO. Come and join the fun!

Hello-- just plugging a new pet project of mine called

j_quips!

J-Quips is a new way to enjoy anime-- every other week we'll be releasing a new, snark-filled downloadable audio commentary for 2 episodes of that week's anime! And it's all free!

It's like Mystery Science Theater for Japanese animation... except it's only one guy with a warped sense of humor and a microphone.

As of now it's a small effort-- basically the equivalent of one person shouting in the wilderness-- but I'm trying to get a bit more exposure for it.

At 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, December 12, the J-Quips for "Mai-HiME" will be released, so anyone interested is more than welcome to get the free download at our LJ. If there's enough demand, "Mai Otome" could be in the works as well, so definitely let us know if you want more or you'd rather I just shut the hell up.
