Music on Nazi Taboo List

Prelude: BroBubbaBob on Twitter: Just started using Twitter recently, and I have @ 800 contacts, most of them newspapers. You figure out what happened. PS to England: Point the finger and wag the tongue at every thing that I see, hear, say, think or do! Does that prove that you are not a coprophagic fool?

Banzai! More More More Messenger Music (posted in my blog @ 6/23)

From Oldies Forum Lyric Request 11/2/07 "I am looking for the lyrics to Banzai. It was a hit by the original Ramones of NYC or upstate NY in the early sixties. Banzai is a Japanese greeting, cheer, or war cry meaning, "May you live ten thousand years!" It went something like: "I give you loving. You give me nothing. I give you kisses. They keep on missing. Banzai Banzai doo doo doo doo doo Banzai...." Then the Ramones did More More More and it started climbing the charts. I know most of the words to More More More. The entire earth moved on the Ramones and erased all traces of them because of More More More. I was only able to find a record of them via the original Top 40 chart books. The lyrics to More... were not profane but many people considered them obscene. They were one of the best bands of the early sixties. The Ramones of the 70s were probably promoted to cover up who the original Ramones were. Get me the lyrics to Banzai and I'll give you the lyrics to More More More. It will drive you mad, I promise, especially when you hear how these Ramones performed it. Andrea True Connection's More More More and even Britney's Gimmie More are pathetic spinoffs arising from a song that made the entire earth move on these Ramones. Hasta luego, adios. BobbyMeade

12/11/07 Oh! Hell with it! Here's:

More More More by the original Ramones of upstate New York

See that girl up on the hill!
She won't do it, but her sister will!
You gimme more more more!

See that girl all dressed in red!
She's got a parking meter by her bed!
You gimme more more more!

See that girl all dressed in blue!
She's got enough for me and you!
You gimme more more more!

There's more, but that was the best lines probably. It came out @ 1965. These Ramones did Banzai! It was a hit, top ten. Then More More More came out. It was climbing the charts, and that was the end of them. There is much worse music out there today. Why did they let such a thing happen? These Ramones that came after them were supposed to replace them or something like that. There's a lot of spinoffs from this song, but none of them can hold a candle to this. These Ramones would be pointing out girls in the audience dressed in those colors too as they sang these lines. I bet they would have been as big as the Beatles if they weren't moved on by the entire earth. Now does anyone know the lyrics to Banzai better than what I have furnished in Lyric Requests?"

So that's what I made available. What do you think happened? Did some joker send Michael Jackson the song and not tell him who BroBubbaBob was or who the Ramones were? Did they say, "This is from the Ramones, but they don't really want to do it!"? Did they say, "Sing this to Britney and tell her this is where her Gimmie More came from."? I heard that the Ramones were murdered horribly violently by the Bush Nazis and that is one of the reasons that they want to suppress this music. On the other hand, maybe the Beatles did it! Are they still trying to promote their "merry-go-round music"? As for the investigative procedures of the SERPENT, you have to understand that it doesn't take weeks or months to do toxicological tests. They are probably delaying publication of their results all the time so that they have time to eliminate anyone who claims to know what really happened. Also consider that whenever the SERPENT is involved, the Secret Police are usually called in to back up any falsehoods that they are seeking to promote. Also if they show you a badge like the ones that Secret Service showed me in Ithaca, you are better off not trying to read them. Those badges were less than one inch in diameter; thus it is probably a ruse to bring you within striking distance.

COMMENT ON REEFER MADNESS ARTICLE ON IMC 7/7

Nicotine is Not Harmless
July 7, 2009 by Anonymous, 4 hours 41 min ago
Comment id: 3634 The Nicolaitans of Revelations 2 were killing people with Nicotine long before people started smoking it. The issue is that inhaling or ingesting nicotine is a lot more harmful than smoking it. Here is my Nicotine Madness Forum Topix post of June 2007:

From NY FT: Nicotine Madness: In response to commercials portraying amputations attributed to smoking: New York Anti-smoking Poster "Boy", Skip Legault said that his parents made him eat a pack of cigarettes when he was a kid. 3 cigarettes is probably a fatal dose. Nicotine is one of the most toxic substances there is. If he did eat them, that is probably what messed him up more than smoking! You always hear about babies dropping dead from nibbling on cigarette butts that they've seen in their parents mouth. It is no bull! Tobacco is of the Deadly Nightshade family. What in God's name ails this medical profession to make like smoking did this to Legault? Check and see, and I bet his troubles started when he was forced to eat cigarettes. 1/15 Since Bush Daddy said that the Bush Nazis have been using nicotine as a means of chemical assault (nicotine is in insecticides), I researched the matter. Nicotine can be absorbed from guts, lungs, and skin. Ingestion of small amounts of nicotine, a bitter-tasting compound, causes vomiting, nausea, headaches, salivation, abdominal cramps, stomach pains, agitation, a rapid weak pulse, and bowel and bladder evacuation. Larger amounts cause convulsions, extreme weakness, confusion, paralysis, coma, respiratory arrest, and death. Even though it says that ingestion of nicotine causes the blood vessels to collapse, they say that they still haven't linked it to peripheral vascular disease. Duh! The fatal dose is listed as 40 milligrams per kilogram. I bet that Skip Legault has always had peripheral vascular disease since his parents made him eat those smokes. Smoking is a big deal with these Bush Nazis probably because they are trying to justify Bush Daddy dumping his buddies in the Pacific, saying that he smelled smoke in the cockpit after telling his buddies that he didn't mind if they smoked. "The curse of an evil deed is that it will always continue to engender evil" Schiller. So it goes as Nicotine Madness replaces the Reefer Madness of yesterday. "Behold they are less than nothing.." (Is. 41:23-24) Although Bush Daddy says that Nazi death doctor Nicky Exarchou has boxcars full of nicotine etc. to dump on you, don't get shook! I can probably save you or at least you will probably die laughing. bobbymeade@blogstream.com

Marriage Wins in Senate: 21 to 14 [May. 1st, 2009|07:47 am]

wiserube
What's the difference between marriages, civil unions and domestic partnerships? Do they offer the same rights and protections? Read on to find out.

Domestic partnerships
Domestic partnerships are the lowest level of relationship recognition, and the rights and responsibilities they convey vary drastically from state to state. The protections and benefits of domestic partnerships are typically minimal, and are not recognized if the couple travels outside their home state.

In 1999 California Governor Grey Davis signed a domestic partner bill, making California the first state to legally recognize same-sex relationships (the District of Columbia passed a domestic partner bill in 1992, but it was blocked from taking effect until 2002). Until its landmark decision on marriage in 2008, California provided benefits and protections to same-sex couples exclusively through its domestic partner laws; now, same-sex couples in California may choose to register as domestic partners, or to get married.

Today, a handful of states - including Maine - recognize domestic partnerships in some form. In some states, this is largely a symbolic recognition. In other states, registering as domestic partners provides a limited set of protections and responsibilities. Some employers, but not all, offer domestic partner health care benefits. Many domestic partners must take exhaustive (and expensive) legal steps to protect themselves and their families. Even then, they can still face serious financial, legal and social challenges, especially as they age, retire, purchase property, raise children and seek medical treatment.

See also: Domestic Partnerships in Maine

Civil unions
Four states recognize civil unions: Vermont, Connecticut, New Jersey and New Hampshire.

Civil unions may not be recognized outside the state in which they are performed - which means that if a couple faces a medical emergency while traveling, one partner may not be permitted to make decisions for the other. Employers may or may not offer health insurance for parties in a civil union.

While the protections and benefits of a civil union are greater than those of a domestic partnership, they still fall short of providing the hundreds of protections automatically conveyed by civil marriage. Like those in domestic partnerships, civil union couples must take additional legal steps to provide greater protections for themselves and their children, though no amount of supplementary paperwork can provide all the benefits of civil marriage.

For many families, the greatest harm of civil unions is the "separate and unequal" status they convey. The Supreme Court of Connecticut decided in 2008 that it is unconstitutional to force same-sex couples into "separate and unequal" status by offering civil unions but blocking them from civil marriage.

See also: "Separate and Not Equal" (New York Times, Dec. 20, 2008)

Marriage
Two states recognize marriage for same-sex couples: Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Civil marriage automatically confers hundreds of rights and responsibilities on couples, and provides critical protections for their families. While gay and lesbian families can protect themselves in limited ways by constructing wills, health care proxies and co-parent adoptions, alone or in addition to domestic partnerships or civil unions, this does not come close to emulating the automatic protections and peace of mind that only marriage can give. People simply cannot contract their way into changing hundreds of laws that affect survivorship rights, worker’s compensation dependency protection or the tax system.

Beyond specific legal protections, marriage confers the intangible benefit of recognition as a family. The word itself is an important protection. Marriage is arguably this nation’s most important civic institution; excluding same-sex couples from marriage marks them and their children as unworthy— and that can’t be remedied with piecemeal legal arrangements.

Religious institutions are not required to perform marriages, though a growing number of faith communities welcome same-sex couples, and there are clergy members who are happy to perform same-sex weddings.

There is no residency requirement for marriage in Massachusetts. In July 2008 a majority of Massachusetts lawmakers voted to repeal a 1913 law that had been revived by then-Governor Mitt Romney in 2004. This ancient law, which was created to prevent interracial marriage, said that couples whose marriages would be "void" in their home states could not marry in Massachusetts. Governor Duval Patrick signed the repeal, eliminating the barrier to out-of-state same-sex couples marrying in Massachusetts. However, as in California, these marriages may not be recognized by other state and local governments. For more about marriage in Massachusetts, and a comprehensive library of information and resources, visit the Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders (GLAD) marriage page.

Same-sex couples from other states will also be able to marry in Connecticut. Details about Connecticut's October 2008 decision are still forthcoming; for the latest news and information, please visit Love Makes a Family.

The Top Ten New Year's Resolutions for Mainers! [Oct. 3rd, 2005|08:47 pm]
reishi9154
Hi all! How is everyone doing today?

In celebration of the great state of Maine and the new year of 2009, I wrote this essay called "Top Ten New Year's Resolutions for Mainers." I would appreciate if anyone would take a look at it and let me know what you think. I love to write, and I love to get responses on what I write. I'm not sure where else to post this, because I think only people from Maine would know what I am talking about. :)  So if you could read my (short) essay and let me know  what you think, if you like it or not, that would be great! Thanks! It's meant to be a humor piece.

The essay is located at

and please let me know what you think!

Thanks.

Work related trip yesterday into today to Presque Isle. On the drive south, had to detour in Houlton because part of the Shiretown Motor Inn was burning to the ground.

Lots of thick smoke visible for several miles before you got to Houlton. When I got back around the detour and on US Route 1 again south of the motor inn complex, I could see it was the front building of the complex that had burned to the ground. Governor's Restaurant appeared to be untouched.

usm communications program. [Apr. 20th, 2007|11:51 pm]

redelectricity
Has anyone graduated from or currently enrolled in the Communications program at USM? I'm debating on going in the fall (if I even get accepted/into that particular program)
I heard from one person that it isn't the best because of overcrowding in the classes, not enough faculty, high demand for seats in higher level classes, etc.
Just wondering what your experiences were/are. Is it a hard program to get accepted to? (I was accepted to Fitchburg State College in Ma. as a film major a few years ago, but wasn't accepted to that program right away as there was a wait...didn't know if it was the same sort of thing)
I'd be a transfer student with over a 100 credits. Not sure how many would actually transfer in, though. Also, I'd probably want to focus on media writing, so if you have any knowledge of that, it'd be great to hear about.

Thanks in advance,

Slates in Hallowell is burning!

I just watched the roof cave in as I was trying to get back out of town after stopping at the fish market for Maine shrimp.

I was diverted onto Second Street as I was coming into town from Augusta, I saw thick black smoke downtown and as I got closer, thought it was The Slates Bakery building - as I came back out after getting my shrimp, I saw that it was indeed the restaurant.

What a shame....

Augusta and Lewiston [Feb. 1st, 2007|09:43 pm]

newsjunkie21
Hello! I've been a member of the Maine communities for awhile but haven't posted anything.

I've just accepted a job that will require me to split my time between Augusta (when the state legislature is in session) and Lewiston (when it isn't).

I need to relocate to a place where the commute would be bearable to both cities, and is a relatively decent place to live. Litchfield seems the most central, or Gardiner and Richmond.

I've been in Maine for about six months, living and working in Norway (Oxford Hills). The furthest north I've bothered exploring is the Rumford/Bethel/Grafton Notch areas.

While Norway is a great town, there aren't many people my age (23) here, so weekend life is painfully boring. I'd love to move someplace that has a few more young people!

Any suggestions let me know!

portland to bath. [Jan. 30th, 2007|08:37 pm]

So, Mapquest is telling me from Portland to Bath it is approximately 46 minutes. Does this sound about right? I'm from Boston, where to get anywhere that is 36 miles, in the morning traffic, you should probably leave AT LEAST an hour and a half before you have to be there.

Guess I'm just wondering if 45 minutes sounds appropriate or not. I am dealing with mapquest here, so for all I know, the route doesn't exist anymore either.

Thanks in advance!

does anyone have any experience working either Appletree answering service (i believe in westbrook)
or AutoEurope (portland)

I've seen the ads online for help and my boyfriend was thinking of applying.
Just wondering if anyone worked for them or knew anything about either company.

Also, I went to get a sticker for my car last week and it got rejected (like i figured it would) but two of the things it got rejected for are absolutely ridiculous. Since I just moved to Maine, and don't really know any mechanics, I brought it to my regular in Ma. this weekend. He looked at it and said that two of the problems the mechanic who failed me saw, are completely almost non-existant and really shouldn't have mattered (i'm think it was more along the lines of them wanting business)

ANYWAY, when i bring my car back this week, to get re-inspected, and say it fails AGAIN...what do i do??? Am I allowed to just keep getting reject stickers until they consider everything fixed? I know that Maine just changed their laws about that and stuff, so I can't go to another garage, but I dunno, I mean...I guess it's up to the person inspecting my car.

any insight, is appreciated, like usual.

thanks.

We have enough folks who are interested and we have a place to meet in Central Maine (Thank you so much to Dottie)!

The first time we meet up will be Saturday, November 18th from 10AM to 2PM-ish. Bring your own lunch and drinks, and Dottie says you must ignore the dust bunnies! *smile*

EMAIL ME!! At

conniepelkey at gmail dot com

(you know how to fix this address in your mail client)

Also, if you have any friends who want to be included in this, PLEASE feel free to include them! The more Maine Clayers, the better!!

We're so looking forward to this!!
