Hi all!

Well Here I am again... still plenty of room for more pals... i have plenty of time on my hands so I can surely write you if you are willing to write me first...

A little about me.. im 23... from upstate ny.. i am currently jobless (hence the fact that i have alot of time on my hands) love music, reading, writing, drawing, chatting online, and spending time with my fiancee. i am serious about penpalling. if you put time into your letter i will to (creative people show me your creativity and ill do the same in return)

Has anyone ever had a letter they spent a lot of time and thought writing, be ruined and have to be re-written??. I just finished rewriting a letter to a friend in Germany, that was destroyed by a freak OOPS moment :(. I was in the Chicago area visiting a mutual friend, so I was writing a daily account of the visit for our friend in Germany who could not be there. I had a sport bottle with soda in it in my carry on bag when I went to the airport to return home. Even though I had even put the bottle in a ziplock baggie and closed the bottle tight, somehow it opened. Of course, there happened to be a tiny hole in the baggie as well. When I went to continue writing my account of my trip to the airport ect, I found the bottom of my bag and every thing in it soaked, and the letter ruined :(. I could make out the words, but the paper of course was shredding and wrinkled, and the ink on the paper running horribly. There was NO way I could mail such a pathetic sloppy excuse for a letter. I think next time I carry a letter in progress I will make sure to NOT put anything that could ruin it nearby, and even cover the letter itself..sigh..lesson learned...

Does anyone know any web store where to buy beautiful & inspiring stationary? It is so difficult to find lovely stationary in Finland these days. I like all kinds of artistic papers and beautiful ones with themes like Nature, Art, Romantic, Trees, Leaves, flowers/plants, garden, mythologies, fairies, mermaids etc. but I'm not very much into pink & pastels & cutesy myself. But I now and then see amazing stationary (in letters I get from pen friends) with art theme like Waterhouse's paintings or other such lovely things. Or old style/calligraphy/victorian..

Anything Else You Think We Should Know ??? I'd love to get back into penpalling more. I still write a few close friends but I got out of it due to personal reasons, but I'm at that stage where I'd like to write more. I write really long letters most of the times. If I happen to write a short letter, I'll always go back and write another long one within that week to make up for it. I reply quickly and I do like swaps in my letters sometimes, it's not required though!! I like slams and decos, stickers, cute stationery, etc. Anything really! I'm a pretty outgoing person and love to learn about different people. I would prefer long letter female pals. Any age group.
