This is a MODERATED community for all people who love makeup especially avant-garde, special fx or high fashion makeup. The community is not limited to overly creative makeup but it is encouraged! We do however enforce this community as being one of skill and artistic ability. All pics should be clean, clear and creative. This is not an advice board or a place to learn how to apply makeup. We are not here to give you help, we are here to fawn over your lovely makeup skills and see what makeup artists inspire you. Please do not post mediocre makeup pics or pics where you and/or people are not wearing makeup.

IF YOU ARE DENIED MEMBERSHIP TO THE COMMUNITY IT IS FOR A REASON. DO NOT COME TO THE MODS PERSONAL JOURNALS CRYING AND ASKING WHY. WE DO NOT ALLOW LURKERS HERE OR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO INTENTION OF PARTICPATING IN ANY WAY. Magic_in_Makeup was created for you to post ANY pics which you think are “magical” in some way. You can post pics of yourself, of people whose makeup you did, ads, or other cool makeup pics that you think might be inspiring to those of us who love the art of makeup. Please include credits for makeup and hair artists as well as photographers when possible. We welcome any and all photos of fantastic makeup but please keep them at a maximum of 10 and please hide more than 2 behind a lj cut.

Please do not waste anyone’s time by posting commonly found ads like Lancome, L’Oreal, Revlon, etc. (unless foreign and/or vintage or unusual).

ALL PHOTOS POSTED MUST HAVE THE MAKEUP ARTIST CREDIT, NO EXCEPTIONS!!

I would also like to stay away from this being an advice board because I figure if you are here, you need no advice. Feel free to ask about particular products or brands used but please keep your questions/comments within the right thread/post. Do not create posts asking for advice..they will be deleted, no exceptions.
