Welcome to Magic Art! Our goal is to bring a bit of magic into your lives through our graphics. We specialize in icons, but we also create banners and colorbars. Once in a while, there are also special request posts, so if you'd like a customized icon, be sure to join the community. We would love to have you as a member! :) |

Magic Art is Members Only, meaning that you will have to join the community to see the graphics. Membership is moderated: after submitting your request, one of the maintainers will see to it and approve or reject it. We make our decision after checking your icons to see if you give proper credit. Crediting graphics is a very important aspect here at ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} magic_art, so if you haven't credited your icons, and aren't willing to do so in the future, then please don't bother to apply for membership. | Magic Art was created and is run by erised_dream and nerhegeb. Here is a picture of us with Loreena McKennitt, an amazing musician and a wonderful person. We are great fans of hers, and we had the honour of meeting her in Hanover this year. On the left side of the photo is Sabina, also known as erised_dream, 26 years old and creator of the Goddess-themed icon sets and the Muses series, to name a few. On the right side is Nicole aka nerhegeb, 28 years old and maker of icon sets such as these dedicated to Mermaids, or the Kitties of the Season series.We are also a couple in real life, and happily married since February 10th 2007. :) And now let us introduce the other member of our family, our cat Emma, also known as The Diva Cat, Slave Driver, Her Royal Highness, and Sunadora. ;)  Please note: If you have particularly enjoyed a certain set of icons and would like to friend the one of us who made them, please be sure to check the username and friend the right person! It happens quite often that erised_dream is friended by people actually intending to friend nerhegeb, or the other way around. ;) Also, both our personal journals are friends only, and while we are always happy to make new friends, we don't add back just anyone who friends us. So, if you're really serious about becoming LJ friends with one of us, please read our profiles carefully and see if we have something in common. Thank you! :) |
