Perms
Hi, I was wondering what your opinions are on perms. I'm thinking about getting one, but I don't know shit about them. I want to get a perm that will make my hair wavy, not tight curls. I know that the condition of your hair is important, and I think I have fairly healthy hair. Do any of you have a perm? Would you recommend it? Post pictures of your perms if you have any!

I hate mine, it's shit. Mind you she didn't really do what I asked her to. I asked for a wavy perm and what I ended up getting was little loose curls but JUST ON THE BOTTOM. I look like an idiot :( and it ruined my hair.

This was before the perm. Zero product, unstraightened. (Mind my photoshop skillz)
This was the other day.

if you want just a nice wavy look then ask for a body wave.they use bigger rods so it doesnt get tight curls.a few years ago i was trying to grow my hair longer and didnt color it at all so obv i got pretty bored so i thought a perm would be a good idea to keep me from chopping it off.well,the girl i got didnt know crap about perms and didnt rinse out the solution long enough so my hair still smelled like perm plus it damaged my hair alot and it just looked frizzy and gross.i ended up cutting my hair off because i couldnt stand to look at it.

I have a body wave and I love it.



I have really bone straight hair and I couldn't do anything to it (like srunch or curl it with an iron without it falling out after like 5min) so my cousin did it for me.
