I haven't had my hair cut or trimmed since the summer, and I was thinking about maybe doing something a little different this time around.

my roots are horrible i am aware but i am getting it all bleached out again in a few weeks then i want to go either bright blue or bright orange all over. which do you think would look better with my skin tone and such?

Does anyone have any other pics of haircuts like this one? I love love love it. Pics of real girls with similar hair especially appreciated (not just perfect models... cause I'm not!) I guess it's just kind of a wispy pixie with longer sides.

Upgrade, downgrade?

Long time, no post :D

Now that Romeo and Juliet is over, I can officially do things to my hair.
Sorry to say, I am STILL trying to grow this mop out, but I am willing to lose a little length. I think my ends are gettign disgusting anyway.

The biggest problem is my crazy bangs :c
They are unruly and long hahah.

iv had black hair since april!,in october i bleached it out and dyed it a brown but it was this hideous reddish color, so i went back to black haha my roots are coming in alot but i really want to go back to my natural medium brown
so i was wondering, has anyone had their black hair stripped at a professional
is alot of damage? and does it turn out with alot of red tones aswell?

anyone know how she did the braid in the back of her head?

So, I'm getting into the whole hair straightening/curling deal, and obviously I don't want to fry my hair. However, most of the products/heat protectants I've saw are either specifically for holding curls or straightening. I couldn't really find any simple heat protectant spray, so I was just wondering whether it would really matter if I used, say, a spray for curls when I'm straightening my hair. :/

Let me know and if anyone has any good drugstore brands to recommend (we don't have CHI here) do tell me! Thanks all. (:

I've noticed quite a few people on here are taking Biotin. I've been taking it for two months. (Give or take a few days.) Before I started to take it, I read quite a few things on the internet about side effects. Now that I'm experiencing some that I've previously read, I went over several websites that now say there have been no reported side effects.

So, I propose the question: Have you felt anything "foreign" to your body that could have been caused by Biotin?

Okay, So I've changed my hair a fair bit (and i'm only fourteen, haha) but once again I'm pretty damn bored of my hair.

I have a Hairdressers appointment on thursday the 3rd december. For cut, dye and streaks.

I was thinking of a sorta layered auburny-brown colour (or mahogany brown) for something different. And it could have like, caramel brown streaks on top and brown ones under? i don't know. I dont really have a photo because, lets be honest, who has done this style already. But I don't know if i suit warmish colours. I've dyed my hair with copper-red highlights and it looked pretty horrible.

As usual i want lots of layers and side-swept bangs. But i really need some opinions on what you think will look good.

does it come out easy? more specifically the red?
i don't want to know if it fades quick, i want to know if i could eventually get my blonde back without having to bleach it.
ive had pink hair for years and right now im poor and i dont have money to fix my roots or redye the pink, but a friend happens to have some old fudge red hair dye and i want to do this while i wait to save up money for maintaining my pink hair because currently, my hair is a wreck.
i just want a solid color. I don't mind having dark red roots and bright red hair, but right now its dark roots and light hair. i think it looks odd/tacky.
yeah, so, basically, i hate my hair right now, dont have the money to go back to pink (at the moment) and i need to know if i will ruin my hair by using red fudge. because it has taken me a long time to go this light and i dont want to deal with anymore bleaches.

So, I took the plunge... and I'm still somewhat in shock, and now feeling kind of naked without the pink. Doesn't matter that what it had gotten to was a ridiculously faded mess, but.... ahhhh!

So, like I said, I'm feeling pretty naked and self conscious now! ahhh

I ordered some Special Effects Joyride (purple dye) so I definitely plan on dying it. But I am just so confused about what to do with my bangs... I am thinking I either want them short and straight across or to the side but I really don't know.

so as you can see, the upside of growing my bangs out i that it's very easy to pin them to the side. I'm also able to braid them and pin them, which is cool, and to easily wear headbands around my forehead. I guess I'm just trying to figure out what would be more flattering on me - bangs or no bangs? And if bangs, then what kind? And if I were to get short bangs, would they look right with my long hair (a few inches past my shoulders)? Thanks so much.

Okay, I have been doing my hair for a long time now and I guess that eventually, I just run out of ideas. I am turning to you guys.

so i took some advice and dyed my hair from blonde to red using L'Oreal POWER RED. It was awesome seee



but then it faded to this




How do I keep red from fading? Advice would be super neato helpful!
