So I just got out of my first relationship, which was three years long, and long distance, so I'm needing a change. I can't get another piercing, and I can't get another tattoo, so I'm settling for my hair.

I actually went to get it cut last week, but honestly, the cut is terrible. It looked good when my stylist did it up with this magic japanese powder that works like hairspray, but after that it really just looked like my old hair, but with really bad layers.
More or less, my natural 'black' with faded lighter brown highlights...which all look 'black' now.

Sorry for the bad photos, I didn't have many D:
It started out looking magenta,but faded to a red for a few months, then eventually copper. Personally, I liked it.
Opinions, or other colour suggestions?

I'm wondering if this would even look remotely good worked into a long, layered haircut.

More blended than the first and less severe than the second would be ideal, I think.

Hey all. :)
You may remember me posting earlier about whether or not to keep my short, pink hair or dye it back to my natural and grow it.

Here it is

I decided on option 2, so I went ahead and got some dye and did it myself.
I never go to a salon for anything but cuts.
Anyway, I got a dye very different from my natural VERY dark brown, almost black, hair. It was this:

L'Oreal Paris Light Reddish Brown Excellence Creme.

Only, this is how it turned out:

Any ideas for me? :)

I made this post before getting my hair done in August... and now it's time for another cut/color next week!

My color always changes so much from month to month (WITHOUT me touching it!).

(the curls aren't natural- naturally it's thick & a little wavy. actually, the color isn't natural either, but I'm not going back to my natural color anyway!) I've had the same color since early summer. it's okay now & I wouldn't mind keeping it, it's just a little boring. I was thinking about adding some burgundy, black &/or blonde peek-a-boos.. should I?

I've been the same shade of blonde for 2 years now, and I'm getting really tired of it. It always fades within a few weeks it seems like, and I'm tired of dealing with my roots. I want to go to a shade of brown or maybe a reddish-blonde color, but I'm nervous.

Also, what have your results been with living proof products? Do they really work as well as they claim? My hair is naturally frizzy and I've tried almost everything to get it to calm down, but it always remains somewhat frizzy.

heres the deal, so i colored my hair with a semi permanent blue and purple:

but i want to go red again, my usual winter color

so i figured if i just color over the blue (its super light and faded now) the red will take the roots and not the rest. so should i use a color stripper than try? help!

I love how defined these "waves" are. How can I achieve this? I bought a waver by "bedhead" and it sucks. It does nothing for me! So is there another tool out there that I can use? I was thinking of using one of those double tong irons, would that work?

Hello, here I am AGAIN. I really don't know what to do with my haircolor! In this picture it looks pretty and bright and all that jazz, but that's just because of the warm lightning.. Normally it looks way more dull... more like copperblonde (a dark copperblonde)..

I am in desperate need for a color change. I have not dyed my hair in a 1½ years because I had dyed it so much for 8 years straight that it was so damaged. I am sick of my natural hair color & have been wanting to dye it for ages.

I am thinking of a brownish black or an auburn color. But I have no idea what will work. I am happy with my cut, but I need some suggestions since it has been ages since I have dyed it.

Bleaching/Lightening help

Im going to sound like a utter idiot here but oh well c: I've wanted to put some color in my hair for some time now as Im getting bored with the same boring black (It suits me better than this natural brown I have >>;) So want to put some red in. I think the last time I dye it black was about a month/month&half ago, I have a feeling its a little too soon to go bleaching/lightening but Im not too precious about my hair since I use pretty good repairing shampoo/conditioner and If worst came to worse It could be cut out and grown back. I've had my hair bleached twice before, the first time was just a chunk in my fringe and they completely FRIED it, it was utterly shit and I hated it, the second time I had it done at a professional coloring salon I wanted the chunk bleached & dyed pink but they decided to color my whole fringe, It didnt last long but they didnt ruin my hair and its back to good condition. But what I wanted to ask was what product should I use? I live in the Uk (midlands) and want to get the stuff tomorrow so no buying online for me, I've read 3% Hydrogen Peroxide is good as I don't really need to go WHITE blonde if Im putting color in after.

&also, is there a good inexpensive deep conditioner I could use?

I've been stuck in a hair-rut for the past two/three years and I want to get out of it! Naturally, I'm a dirty blonde but I have no pictures of that aside from like, super childhood photos :(
( timeline, 2007 - now )I guess my question is, should I continue with black or perhaps nurse my hair back to health, only to bleach it again? I miss my blonde hair so much but I feel like it's such a commitment .
