It's all about how you sell it.

The 2009 Emmy Nominations were annouced this morning and "Mad Men" leads the drama catagories with 16 nominations!!!  :D  Plus, Jon Hamm was also nominated for his guest role on "30 Rock".  :)  The full list of nominations can be seen at cdn.emmys.tv/awards/2009ptemmys/61stemmys_noms.php.   The Emmys will air September 20th on CBS.

Check this out everybody!! After watching the Season One finale of "MAD MEN" - (1.13) "The Wheel", I had an emotional reaction to Peggy's promotion and wrote this little ARTICLE.

when will AMC air madmen? every time i check the yahoo listings it comes up empty.

I was rewatching Marriage of Figaro today and I started wondering about something I'd never given much thought about before.

Okay, Don ditches Sally's party and ends up driving around until what seems well into the night. Then he shows up with the dog and ends up being the big hero for Sally after all. 

What I never considered before was were did Don get Polly from that night. The streets rolled up pretty early in the suburbs at that time. So if there was a pet store or pound nearby they'd likely be closed by the time Don decided to go home. Did he just steal her out of someone's backyard?   

Any thoughts?

Just wanted to let everyone know Jon Hamm's playing in the celebrity All-Star softball game in St. Louis right now as part of MLB's All-Star weekend.  I'm watching it online at ESPN360.com right now and it's just started.  I'm not sure what position he's playing, but his jersey number is 23.  Jon's playing on the red National League team.   He's playing along with celebrities Ashanti, Chingy, James Denton, Carlos Diaz, Carl Edwards, Jenna Fischer, Ginuwine, Mike Golic, Mike Greenberg, Shawn Johnson, Bob Knight, Brian Littrell, Nelly, Andy Richter, Billy Bob Thornton, and Annie Wersching; former legends Ozzie Smith, Bruce Sutter,  Dave Winfield, Rollie Fingers, Goose Gossage,  Ernie Banks, Lee Smith, Vince Coleman, Whitey Herzog, Tommy John, Fred Lynn; and with softball players Kristen Butler, Megan Gibson, Samantha Findlay and Trena Peel. 

ESPN will air the taped version of the game tomorrow July 13th at 10 pm EST right after the Home Run Derby.

According to IMDb, the title for episode 3.02 is "Love Among the Ruins."

Yeah I know, we still have not heard back from the Jon Hamm and John Slatterly ones. I am still waiting. Who know these might come faster.
