Turning 21 on Wednesday

Opus on King Street is an absolute must on a birthday :) Champagne cocktails, great martinis, and they even have fondue (and other stuff, but fondue!) if you're hungry!

My favorite place is the Essen Haus, but it's best on the weekends when there are polka bands. :)

hehe, Polka is good. Probably even more tolerable..ahhem, I mean.. better when drinking, yes?? :)

The breakfast at the Come Back In is wonderful. Everyone around me were served $1 breakfast drinks. Mmm!

I like the Great Dane because it's casual and huge and therefore you can usually find a place to sit (or play pool, or watch sports or chat or whatever). However, I am a lot older than you, so my tastes may be different. Most of my undergrad friends enjoy going out on State Street - one of their favs is Dotty Dumpling's Dowry on Frances St.

My folks do this thing where we get to choose where we'd like to eat for our birthday evening, and I chose the Great Dane. I love the atmosphere! I'm going to try the new one @ Hilldale, the only problem is that they don't have outside seating. boo whoo. :(

i see. hmmmmm. to be honest, i don't really go to bars in that area. i'd have to recommend the weary traveler on willy st., though, if you're willing to travel. and happy birthday! :)

I remember my 21st birthday. Never having a been a drinker myself, I stood in wait for the stroke of midnite at the supermarket, waiting for the moment I could legally buy alcohol's for my under aged co-workers.
