A production of a new Alice in Wonderland movie is in the works starring Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy fans, ftw!)!

"Ten years after she tumbled through the looking-glass and into Wonderland, Alice now resides inside a mental asylum. After her parents are killed in a tragic fire, the young girl grows up to become a disturbed young woman. After failing to convince people that her visit to Wonderland was indeed real, Alice is given a second chance to return to this strange realm. Equipped with courage, a keen appetite for the bizarre and a lethal array of transmogrified toys, she'll penetrate the strongholds of her enemies, confront the forces of evil and put the wicked Queen of Hearts in her place."

It's based off of American Mcgee's Alice.

Hi! I'm new here. My name's Kate, and I love both the book by Carroll and Disney movie. =)

I've been thinking about getting an Alice tattoo for months now, had some ideas, then just put it to the side. Now I really want to get one, but I have no idea what to get. Can anybody give me any suggestions? I want it to defiently include Alice, the disney version, and I don't want it to be huge. I think I'm going to get it above my ankle on my right leg. Any help would be great! Thankyou =)

Also... Any news on the Marilyn Manson movie or whomever? I've heard a few different things but not recently

toys r us has alice in wonderland "barbie" dolls for about $28 a piece online. they're $40 in the store. there's alice, the mad hatter, and the queen of hearts. they are super cute.

Hello All! :) I just found this community, figured I'd check it out. I love Alice in Wonderland, mostly a fan of the books but I love the movie too :)

Uhm... A little about myself I guess:
I'm 23, will be moving to Palo Alto, CA in... 18 days. Grew up in the Chicago Area love books, movies, role playing, music... Tons of other things :) Look forward to enjoying this community!

Just found this community, and wanted to say hi!

I've been a big Alice in Wonderland fan since I was a kid. I love the Disney version and the illustrations from Lewis Carroll's novel, but I also love the dark Alice from American McGee's game. AiW is such an interesting story and I love seeing different interpretations of it. I am looking forward to Tim Burton's upcoming version.

Has anyone read Still She Haunts Me by Katie Roiphe? It inserts a story between facts (one that will be logical to some and presumptuous to others) about Lewis Carroll and his relationship with the real life Alice Liddell, but it is beautifully written and intriguing.
