So What's Next?
The Powermac range was refreshed and the Final Cut suite updated last month. Tiger was only released last week. The iMac was refreshed today.

Meanwhile, it's only a month until WWDC. There's the usual scattering of "TBA" sessions throughout the schedule, and I can't imagine Steve Jobs not saving up something cool to announce during the keynote.

So I guess the question is: what's Apple doing next?

As much as I don't like Trent Rezonr, I think I don't like John Mayer more.

It'll probably be new iBooks, since it's about time for my new computer to become obsolete.

Perhaps an iPod ReallyFuckingSmall, that you just insert into your ear.

Oh, and of course, a fourteen button mouse, with six scrollwheels and wireless bluetooth lasers.

not playthings either

eMac was refreshed too. Which means that the iBook and Mac Mini will likely see similar specs as base (1.42GHz/R9600)

I'm expecting an iBook/Mac Mini refresh, but likely not until june at the earliest. The only reason they'll refresh the Mac Mini is that it has parts commonality with the iBook.

After the flying pigs deliver the tablet, Satan ice-skates his way onto the stage to deliver the Apple Newton 2005.
