If you haven't been on homegirl's youtube then you really need to. I just friended her over there this morning but I have been watching her videos for awhile. She is just an amazing person to watch and her attention to detail is incredible especially for those that do not know a thing about makeup so if you know some sistahs who well need some help or inspiration, check her out:

Oh man, thank goodness for Specktra!
Looking at the summer collections I'm really psyched!
I also can't wait for for Naughty Nauticals, Solar Field (I want to know what those Solar bits are...), Neo Sci Fi, or Cool Heat!
On NC 45 or darker, does White Wheat look like anything else that you've had?
I really wish that MAC would be better about spacing out launches of full collections.

I was wondering which foundation you guys like the best. I am using Mac's Hyper Real right now and although it's pretty for special occasions, I need something that has more of an everyday all time of day use. I also found out that I really like applying liquid foundation with large blush brushes. :)
I have oily skin btw.

So today I hopped on down to MAC to check out the BBP collection. The colors are very strong so they have to be blended, but they go on very easily. I didn't try on all of the colors because I really only like browns and plums.
I tried Eversun which was very beautiful and I also tried on Secret Blush and Feeling. I found that I liked all of the colors much more when they were on top of a CCB (I tried them with Improper Copper and Bronze). I know that a lot of people have been all abuzz about Serenly which is a beautiful reddish color.

Has anyone heard of the Dress Camp Collection for April? I saw something about it on Specktra and I'm really interested in knowing more about the yellow shadow coming out with it! I really like the color yellow, but I'm not the biggest fan of bright matte colors.

I've done natural matte foundation, dewy foundation, soft eyeshadow, easy smoky eye, etc. I've got around 11 or so. I hope they help and you can learn something new or reinforce something old!

Heads up ladies !
They are bringing back smooth harmony - medium golden bronze (repromote) beauty powder with the Heatherette collection in march for MAC.
I have been using this since the Diana Ross collection and LOVE it !!!
I am an NC-43 and use it as a touch up powder .

So I went to see the N collection and I *love* it! Even if you're not a "neutral person" there's something for everyone!
The lip products were just to die for and the MSFs too. I only got Warmed MFS even though I thought I wouldn't be interested.
For the lips I got 5N lipstick (more of a berry than a plum-brown I would say). I also picked up N4 lipglass (to die for!) and N3 lipglass (wonderful neutral).
I also found out I really enjoyed Modest Tone to my surprise. I like it as a highlight color. I was sadly dissapointed with Dark Edge and I was on the fence about Neutral pink so I didn't get it. Remotely Grey is a nice color, but I decided to wait.
I really wanted to get the brown nail polish, but I realized that I like darker browns than this.
Tell me what you guys find! I'll have swatches up soon!

Sorry to post twice in one day, but I was wondering if anyone can post pictures of a Luster finish lipstick applied w/ different intensities (like one coat vs 2 or application w/ a brush vs. direct application). I really want to like the finish because the N collection has a lot of them, but I'm still not sure if I'd want to go for that finish.

Make up junkies out there. Have you ever looked at old pictures of yourself and thought... "What the fuck?? That shit aint even blended?!!" LMAO! I just did! My goodness! Why didn't y'all tell me??! Compared to what I know now, I was doing a shitty mess back then. LOL But it's all apart of the growing process when doing make up. You do your make up, know you look good, take pictures and then see how you can improve on them. Everything takes time and practice. LOL
