Have any of you seen this? It's a webcomic. Quite old so someone might have already posted it.

Hello everyone, this is my first official post to the comm. I've been lurking for quite a while. Well, I'm watching tv right now and a commercial came on.
It started off with a guy in a suit and glasses saying "I'm a PC and I've been turned into a stereotype." It then continues with a huge range of people saying that they're a PC, too. It was a Microsoft ad! I've never seen it before.
Has anyone else seen it? The beginning is a direct reference/response to the Mac/PC ads, so it kind of surprised me.

I made an icon a few months ago when the Sad Song ad came out, and I can't seem to get it under 40kb. :(
I'll post it here anyway, in hopes that someone may come along and make it usable. XD

This is acceptable, y/n? :3

Hey I saw this link today. I thought it was really interesting, and in many ways, an apt comparison: Hi, I'm a Mac… Beep, beep! The discussion in comments is pretty good, too.

Okayyyyyy so I was watching The Dish on the Style network, and they were doing their "Trend Alert" segment. The third trend was "dating Justin Long."
The segment ends with the host (America Fererra Oops. Danielle Fishel. My bad.) going, "We all know who he really has the hots for..." and the screen shows a cap of a Mac vs. PC ad.
I just about died.

Hey, guys. I kind of ducked out on this community for a while, but you seem to be doing really well without leadership. xD Holy cow there's like 800 people in this community! When I made it I had no idea that so many people shipped Mac and PC. :D
So to celebrate, I'm going to suggest a contest! We desperately need a new community layout (okay, not desperately, but the place could do with some sprucing up). I don't have any fancy prizes to offer, but the winner would get his or her layout featured on the community! That's exciting, right!
I know we have a lot of artists in the community, so this is your official challenge: make us a layout!
Please let me know what you think, and I've made a poll to gauge the community's interest in such a thing as contests:
Poll #1251787
Open to: All, detailed results viewable to: AllIs there any interest in a contest?

I come bearing a new chapter, and a title for the story, too. (Finally. I hate coming up with titles.) Have fun. :)
Edit: Firefox doesn't seem to approve of this. She It crashed on me for I think the first time ever right after I posted.

Elderly snails are faster than me, but I hope you enjoy anyway. Update to that story which still lacks a name, or Tswslan for short. ;p
Also, thanks a big fat lot to everyone who has commented so far, is commenting, or will comment at some point. (No, I'm not fishing. I'm serious.) You're greatly encouraring.

| John Hodgman in the New York Times |

This one isn't directly related to the commercials, but for anyone who likes to keep up on what John and Justin do outside the commercials, John Hodgman has written a comic book review for tomorrow's New York Times, and you can read it online here.
Sample line: This is probably the only passage in the English language containing the words “tee hee” that has actually moved me.

I've long been a fan of the mac/pc ads, but have only been able to see them online. Until tonight. Finally they have launched the highly successful ads here in Perth, Australia. TV just got a whole lot better.

I'm a slow writer, but, finally, here it goes. Considering both length and content, I suppose the first bit about Firefox and IE I posted is an introduction/prologue of sorts, so here comes

Hi, this is my first post in this community. And this is a fandom that, while compelling and sweet and really funny, isn't my "chosen fandom", so to speak...
...the reason why I joined was simply so I could show you this in case you hadn't seen it before.

If this is off-topic, old as hell, or unwelcome, I apologize.
Drive safe, y'all.
