I have a favor to ask...

I'm working on an image resource journal: hfimages

The people that are incorporated in to my graphics for the most part are considered obscure and thus it can prove to be difficult to find decent images to create graphics of them in the first place. The purpose of this journal is to archive high-resolution and quality images that I use to create my graphics and icons found at: hficons. These are there for my own personal usage and for others to use in their graphics.

If you have any images of this sort that are not already in any of the galleries, I would appreciate it to no end if you contributed to the archive. To do so: leave a comment here and if approved they will be added to the gallery with your LiveJournal name given as credit in the hover-over alternative text. The archive is really for every graphic/iconmaker's sake, so not only will I appreciate it but I'm sure many others will as well. (:

"The last time the Smoking Section checked in with Marilyn Manson, he let the world in on his movie project, Phantasmagoria the Visions of Lewis Carroll. In just a few weeks, he'll begin filming in Paris. But he has more up his sleeve. On Halloween, he'll celebrate the opening of his new L.A. art gallery, located at the nearly satanic address of 667 Melrose ("I looked at the lease and said, you have got to be kidding me," he says.)

More awesomely, Manson has been making music, including the new tune This is Halloween for the upcoming DVD release of Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas. "It will be the vampire national anthem," says Mason. "Black panties all across the world will moisten at the sound of my voice."

So far, he has half an album's worth of tracks, one of which, "Rebels Without Applause", addresses Manson's notion that young bands suck these days. "I'm not the bitter guy that's jealous of these other bands that are coming up and stealing my thunder," he says. "I invented thunder and rain. I am THE black. And I'm here to vacuum the red carpet."

If that's not enough, Manson is releasing his own line of absinthe. "We have to have it out in time for parents to give it to their children for Christmas." Sweet! /Rolling Stone"

My name is Danielle, Missi Von Ripper as my alias name =)...I listen to a lot of music, i will practically listen to any type of music as long as its not rap or country, but my favorite is old punk, psychobilly punk, industrial rock, & metal!!! I love music, its pretty much my life.... Im a pisces, I like loads of fun and im a big party freak, & i'm probably hornier than your boyfriend, and i have a very perverted sense of humor, teehee.... Im usually told that i dont act my age which is very true :p, im pretty immature... I really like to go to shows with friends and just be an all out crazy fuck, ... An update on Marilynmanson.com at this point would be the usurpation of the website by the dreaded Celebritarian Corporation... It seems like full speed ahead into the new era.

On a side note, Manson has appeared in Spin Magazine commentating on impersonators by the name of Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance, and Carlos D of Interpol.

Marilyn Manson is truly moving forward into the Celebritarian Corporation era as we speak.

On the introduction to his website, a Cross of Lorraine is depicted to the left of the image and at the bottom right are numbers that are scrolling from right to left. Music has been added as well.

On a side note, the Phantasmagoria Films website has gone live, but sadly is not complete at the moment.

For those who have not seen it yet, Manson did a great interview for MTV where he was rather insightful as to answer many questions such as, "When is the new album coming out?" and "Is it conceptual?", but also poses many new questions as well. Great interview, so go check that out if you have not already... MTV Interview

Better still, The Heirophant just had a beautiful exclusive interview with Manson that talks in very intricate detail of what to expect in the upcoming Celebritarian Corporation movement. Some highlights are discussion of collaborations, his upcoming films, the revolutionary new means he intends to deliver his art through, and his desire to release the legendary and previously unseen short films entitled "Groupie" and "Antichrist Superstar". Oh, and he wants to put "Dead to the World" and "God is in the TV" on DVD soon, so that's good. Too Late With Adam Carolla is going to have guest star Marilyn Manson on at midnight on Halloween. Technically it's on Novemember 1st, but I suppose it's still considered Halloween.

The show comes on Comedy Central for those of you that are interested.
