Okay, I'm hearing that people are not finding the book in Australia, with a few exceptions, so I wanted to check up and see how that's going. I haven't heard back about it from my end yet, but what it sounds like to me is that the books just haven't arrived yet (although I'm a little disturbed that some of these stores don't even seem to know that they're supposed to be on the lookout for it). I've had about three or four mail exchanges with my publisher in the last few months, and each one has taken umpteen frillion weeks, to the point where one or both sides started to wonder if we should report a lost package (and when that package is time-sensitive and filled with proofs, it suuuuuucks, let me tell you what). So this seems like a reasonable explanation, but I'd still like to know if y'all are still having problems, and to know when and where you do manage to get hold of the book.

I hate that I can't even go to a physical store and make inquiries myself, or try to persuade managers to order more copies. I'll talk to anyone I need to, if it would help, so feel free to give out my cleolinda @ livejournal.com email to anyone interested in stocking or promoting the book. (I figure, I can't get any more spam than I already do, y'all.) I mean, I have no idea what I could possibly do from over here, but if anyone thinks of anything, you know... short of breaking the bank and flying down there, I'll do it.
