It makes me angry that it takes SO long for people to icons in and if the next contest don't do any better for this community then I may just delete it... I mean, it's been a month basically getting icons in for this contest! Contest #9 - "I Don't Wanna Grow Up!" [Jun. 5th, 2005|06:29 pm] jump5fan_icons [ Current Mood | chipper ] [ Current Music | "God Of Wonders" ~ Mac Powell And Cliff & Danielle Young ] I couldn't think of either better name for this contest, so I Called it "I Don't Wanna Grow Up!"... for this contest you can submit 2 Icons. The Icons can be of anything to do with kids! (Kids Shows, Cartoons, Toys, Icons of Kids). Somethings that aren't allowed in this contest are Cartoon's like The Simpsons or anime like Inuyasha, the reason is because in my eyes, these things don't count as things dealing with kids. In this contest also, you can make icons involving baby animals like Kittens or Puppies... basically, this contest is anything to do with being young! Remember, all Icons must contain lyrics though (so an example of great lyrics for this contest would be Rod Stewarts "Forever Young") SO remember, All Icons must be LJ limits, No one can enter anymore then 2 Icons, and so far, the way bthis community has been going, just submit Icons as soon as you can, when I see that I have enough for a voting post, I'll close it! This challenge is "Covers"... which means, the soure selection is up to you... BUT the song selection as to come from An old Hit, covered by a newer artist... Contest #7 - At The Movies! [May. 17th, 2005|01:59 pm] jump5fan_icons [ Current Mood | sick ] [ Current Music | "Picture Perfect" ~ Angela Via ] Because this post is late, y'all got until Sunday, May 22 to get your icons in! that's still a nice long time, so y'all should have time to get Icons done for this contest... So, on with the contest details... At The Movies should be an easy EASY challenge! All you have to do is make an Icon from WHATEVER movie you feel you want to make an Icon from! This should be really easy since it take sin so much! This includes anything released on Video, Old and New, or anything in/not yet in theaters. If there are previews out for it, then you can make an icon of it... also, This ocntest also includes Television movie specials... This is like the movie Specials on the Disney/Family channels, like "The Cheetah Girls", "Pixel Perfect", "Zenon"... all those sort of TV Movie specials... My opinoin, I made this contest TOO easy! but, hey, trying to satisfy you guys! Also, you can use any song you want in the icons, But I was also thinking it would be easier too because most movies out there today has soundtracks to them! Also, this time Only submit 2 Icons... More people are submitting Icons and it's great, last contest we got 15 and that was the record for this community so far! Keep it up guys and I can't wait to see your GREAT entries!
