Hello, and welcome to Lyrical Final Fantasy.
This is an icon contest community focused on the video games Final Fantasy I-XIII, and other stuff related to them.
This is a so called lyrical icontest, where the mod (i.e. me) will post a set of lyrics on a weekly basis and the members will make icons inspired by and bearing those lyrics.

| [ C O M M U N I T Y . R U L E S ] |
[01.] Each member is allowed to submit only one icon each week. However, there may be times when more than one icon is permitted. Such special instructions will be listed on the entry where the lyrics are posted.
[02.] No voting for yourself. No recruiting friends to vote for you. Icons must remain anonymous through voting.
[03.] Icons must be specifically made for the challenge.
[04.] You are allowed to submit icons featuring screenshots or artwork from:
- Final Fantasy I - XIII
- Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
- Final Fantasy: The Spirit Within
- Final Fantasy: Last Order
- Final Fantasy: Chrystal Chronicles
- Final Fantasy: Tactics
- Dirge of Ceberus
- Kingdom Hearts (only FF characters)
If you think of something else you should run it by me before submitting your icon. Not doing so could get you banned. :|
[05.] Your icon must bear at least 3 consecutive words from the lyrics provided. The text must be legible, or mostly legible. If in doubt post the lyrics you chose.
[06.] Fanart is allowed under strick rules. You must:
- Mention that you're icon features fanart
- Have obtained permission by the artist to use it
- Provide a link to the page where you found it
Sounds harsh? Well, it's up to you to decide whether it's worth the hazzle.
[07.] Please be active. Of course we appreciate submissions, but you can also stay active by voting.
[08.] The mod claims all rights to bann anyone who she feels deserves it. Breaking the rules above is a great example. |

Submitting;
The submission period starts on Friday, as soon as the new challenge is posted and ends on Friday @ 20:00 GMT.
Voting;
The voting period starts on Friday @ 22:00 GMT, and ends on Sunday @ 20:00 GMT.
Winning;
Winners will be posted at on Sunday @ 20:00 GMT, or sometime shortly after.
TIME NOTE: I live in Iceland, in GMT timezone, with no specific summer/winter time. |

» Most Lyrical The best chosen lyrics for one icon, judge on how poetic the lyrics are joined with the image.
» Best Colouring The icon with the best colouring.
» Most Creative The icon that has something unique about it, or something you don't see every day.
» Most Interpretive The icon that speaks to you most, counting both lyrics and image.
» Best Overall The icons that are voted the absolute best. There is a first, second, and third place winner for this category.
» Mod's Choice An icon I think didn't receive the hype it deserves. |

» helgarr - The name is Helga. I'm icelandic and thus live in the GMT time zone. I attend The Icelandic Academy of Arts, so that takes up a lot of my time. I do like this community and will try my darndest to keep it up and running. ^^
