AboutWelcome to the LxMisa community, dedicated to the L and Misa pairing of the anime/manga/movies Death Note.
Rules:
-Feel free to post fanworks of any kind, whether it be fanart, fanfiction, icons, wallpapers, fansites, essays, etc.
-Adult/NC-17 works are fine, be be sure to place them behind a cut and provide warnings of what they contain.
-Large images, actual fanfics, and more than three icons must be placed behind a cut.
-Discussion of the pairing (or the characters themselves) is encouraged. But please place spoilers behind a cut and provide warnings.
-If you're posting something you didn't create yourself (for example, posting a link to a great fanfic you found or a piece of fanart), please make it clear that you did not create it, but simply discovered it and wish to share it. If possible, don't just post the item itself, but a link to where you found it.
-Have fun!
Okay, new rule!
Do not post any fanart that you did not draw yourself. This includes posting icons, banners, or other graphics that use the fanart. The only exception to this rule is when you have been given permission from the artist to use their art in this manner.
If you want to share some fanart you found, please only post a LINK to the fanartist's site or gallery so that we can go view it the way the artist intended.
I ask that everyone who posted fanart or graphics using fanart that did not belong to them please go and edit or delete your post. Over the next couple of days I'm going to be going over the entries to try and root out the entries that posted such fanart. It would save me a lot of time and trouble if you would be kind enough to do it yourself.
Some people have suggested using a Friends lock when posting fanart. DO NOT DO THIS. If the artist doesn't want us posting and using their art, we must respect their wishes. So, even if you post it behind a Friends lock, I will delete it.
Now, my policy on doujinshi (the kind you can actually buy) is that you can still post scans and use them for graphics. I feel this way because the artist makes a profit from the work and has it up for sale. If it's up for sale, it's up for use in my opinion.
Anyway, I hope everyone will honor these new rules without any trouble. Thank you.
