Hooray! I placed an order from the UK Thursday the 28th and it got here yesterday afternoon. I saved $60 ordering from the UK as opposed from NA! I didn't get any samples even though I requested anything they might have, but otherwise everything was great. I asked that they package everything carefully so nothing would spill or explode and all of the bottles were tapped up and everything was wrapped in bubble wrap. The package itself got a little beat up in transit, and one of my bubble bars was crushed, but it's cool because I don't even have to crumble it up now!

None of the bath items came in a bag, so I baggied them and I eventually put the Therapy and Aromaco in little tins, too. Many of the items are new to me and I like everything I've tried so far! Last night, I took a bath with half a Floating Island and half a Blue Skies and it was incredible! I stayed in the tub for about an hour and did NOT want to get out. I am in love with the smell of Tramp and ILJ might be my all-time favorite shampoo (it smells exactly like Sweet Tarts!), with Veganese winning over Jungle for my conditioner. HIWTK solid perfume smells nothing like the soap in the tin, but once I put it on my skin... oh my god! It really does smell just like the soap and I keep sniffing myself all day, looking like a creeper, haha. Everyone I come in contact with can't get over how good I smell. Mask of Magnaminty is also amazing and I felt like a goddess after I put it on - my skin was positively glowing. Aromaco I got as a sample before and *had* to buy it - I love patchouli and it works really well with my body chemistry. Therapy smells like cocoa butter gone bad, but it does the job and really moisturizes and softens my skin. Sadly, I don't really like Rockstar or Creamy Candy. I like sweet scents, so I thought I'd like these guys, but they're just *too* sweet for me and straight-up smell like cheap bubblegum. I'll use them, but I won't be buying them again. Can't wait to place another order!

I've tried nearly everything in the store, but do you guys have any must haves that I don't have? I have dry skin (I'm planning on buying Celestial soon), and fairly dry hair (I dye it).

I got an order today and sadly it was sample free :[ But I am fingers crossed that maybe I'll get some next time!

So, on Thursday, I did a double Lush run. One was for my third UK order and the second was to the local Lush shop (because I needed to stock up on some more soap). And as usual, I got pictures.






So, I bought Honey I Washed the Kids, Spice Curls, and Karma soaps. Then, I decided to give massage bars another shot, so I picked up Therapy and Business Time. Since I bought two I got a free massage bar tin and then I got a sample of Sea Veg.



And then, on Lush UK, I decided to try some new stuff:

In the UK, with shipping, the total came to £20.99 ($30.42). In the US, BEFORE the shipping, I would have paid $43.50. So, I wound up saving about 10 bucks. This is not as big as some other savings from previous orders, but it still makes me happy.



Also, I noticed that the UK is getting some new products (OMG, YAY!), incuding sugar scrubs and I saw this in the cleansers section:
Grease Lightning. Apparently, it's some sort of spot treatment.

UK Lushies, have you seen or tried this yet?

I'm fairly new to Lush, but I'm reaally enthusiast with it, since Lush products are the only thing that actually work with my skin besides the skincare products my dermathologist recommends me. I received my first Lush gift last Christmas, a box with three bath ballistics: Big Blue, Think Pink, and Magic; one "let them Eat Cake" Lip balm, and two samples of Honey I washed the kids and Bohemian soaps.

I tried the sample of Honey I washed the kids and saw it did marvelous things to my skin, and after seven years of suffering a very weird type of atopic dermatitis, it was like an epiphany with a chorus of angels singing Haendel's "Hallelujah" (I know, it sounds exaggerated, but it isn't, I swear you).

So I dropped some amount of dough at the Walnut Street Lush (shout out to anyone from Philadelphia!) forum party this evening. I had a lovely time, the SAs are always really helpful and friendly, and I walked away with an obscene amount of loot (some holiday stuff, lots of retro)! I figured now would be as good a time as any to show off my growing stash. I was like a proud mama organizing all my stuff, it's a little sad, lol. Hope you enjoy!

Ugh, I'm hopelessly addicted to LUSH, but I'm okay with that.

I ordered my second Lush UK order Tuesday the 31st. It arrived today! I had the paper packaging this time, as well as with my first big order. I have seen the popcorn packaging, it came with my replacement Gorgeous.

I ordered: Volcano Foot Mask, Baby Face Cleanser, Bohemian Soap (hoping to help my bacne), Bon Bomb bath bomb, Fizzy O'Theraphy Bath Bomb and the pink and yellow Easter Egg Gifts.

Volcano to me smells just like H'Suan Wen Hua Hair Treatment, similar to Sour Labours and Fizzy O'Therapy as well. I like the scent and it's currently slathered on my feet that are wrapped in Cling Film. I'll update this entry with what the results were like. I plan on slathering on a layer of Lemonny Flutter and then putting on my fuzzy socks. Sadly, there are only 3-4 uses in the pot, especially if you slather it on thickly like you're supposed to.

Everything arrived perfectly. =) Under the cut are photos of my haul and what's inside one of the egg gifts.

Recently someone posted about Fresh Farmacy leaving a film on their face. I just started using my new chunk of FF and it's been left to cure almost a month and seems much dryer than the past FF I've used. It's also leaving a film on my face. Maybe the older the FF the more filmy it is? I dunno, I'm not enjoying it and will go buy a small fresh chunk of it soon.

EDIT: Volcano is nice, I could tell it started to do some work on my callouses but I have callouses that even pumice shoes wouldn't be able to fix! My feet look very clean, smelled lovely and felt really relaxed.

So I went to LUSH, seriously there should be a 12 step programme for lush-aholics!
The store is very far away from me so I don’t get to go, I normally order online and end up
with disasters -hallo godiva shampoo yuk! And waylander soap which made my skin smell like 10 day old cat pee.
So to be able to go too the store and get my nose stuck into all the smells was great.
I spent like a demon and now im broke, but I shall smell nice :)
Have to also say the SA (Chichester branch) were wonderful, helpful but not pushy.

Tonight I took a "Mermaid Bath" which is a Big Blue Bath Ballistic and Sunny Side Bubble Bar if you were unaware. I'd read reviews which promised an amazing bath. Let me tell you, the bath definitely lives up to it's name. I crumbled up half of the Sunny Side Bubble Bar into my collander and held it under the tap as the bath was running, I've found that to be a simple yet amazingly perfect way to get the bubble bars to live up to their full potential. When the bath was ready I dropped in half of a UK Big Blue Easter Egg Shell put on Ayesha Biofresh Mask and hopped in. The bath took on this amazing teal color and there were swirls and swirls of glitter, it reminded me of the liquid inside those water willy things that were popular when I was a kid. The scent was mild, very clean and refreshing, my nose was a little stuffed so I can't be more descriptive, sorry. I stayed in until the water got cold, added more hot water and let it get cold again before getting out. It was gorgeous. I have subtle sparkles ALL over! I love it! I definitely recommend this bath to everyone, and I'm definitely using Sunny Side by itself in my next bath, since I bet that looks awesome too!
