PRICE INCREASE
Some things DIDNT go up, here is a list of things that didnt.
All these are in CANADIAN dollars and as best as I can tell, were these prices beforehand:

ahh maybe in the US. In canada, the old price says 29.95 for 250g.

In Italy in November prices increased for most of the products, sometimes with prices skyrocketing to +20... did this increasing in prices involved the UK?

Thanks :) BTW in my comment above I meant to say +20% =) Anyway I think Lush is more expensive in NA than in Italy, and both are more expensive than the UK. One would think that since all of those countries have Lush factories, there wouldn't be a lot of differences.

They countries besides Lush UK are all licensed to different people. Like Wolfie runs Lush NA, not Big. And apparently they are having problems with the guy that runs Lush Italy.

The price increase just gives me more incentive to buy elsewhere or do group orders to Lush UK.

I know, Big told us that when answered to the letter we posted for him in the forum (I am one of the subscribers). I don't think such an answer can help us and I was rather disappointed that Big publicy bad-mouthed Marco. I'm not claiming that Marco did no wrong, I just felt that it wasn't the best place and way to discuss that matter. Anyway, I don't think Lush will do anything about it, the prices will be the same and won't decrease. I'm pessimistic, but the attitude Lush Italy has towards customers isn't promising.

The price increase just gives me more incentive to buy elsewhere or do group orders to Lush UK.
Word. Such a price policy is everything but an incentive.

I'm not an active member on the international forum. So what was the deal with Lush Italy and Marco, and why did Big bad-mouth him?

We complained about the poor customer service, the ridiculos prices (they had just been raised, and not of a few cents) and the bad formulation of products. Big answered telling us that they were having problems with Marco because he (Marco) felt he wasn't making enough money, both from the sales and the salary he got from Lush UK (not sure about the last one though). He didn't offer any solution, he just told us that Marco's overall a good person and everything will be sorted out. I wasn't expecting Big to arrive and solve everything with a magic wand, but I was rather disappointed. Afterwards Lush Italy had a couple of promotions, small ones: the last one was a free bubble bar if you spent more than 20€ between the 18th and 21st of January, but there were problems even there as some Lushies received very poor service in the shops, several shop assistants didn't know the dates, or didn't let the customer pick the bubble bar, or just gave them old ones. It looks like they did it just to shut us up...

These can be signs of discons for '07, just can't. That would be awful.

My store here must be below normal. Even all the "still" prices are waaaay up from here.
