Has anyone been having problems with the LUSH uk website? I've been trying to order for 2 days and I keep randomly getting "Internet Explorer Cannot Display the Webpage". I thought it might be my computer but my boyfriend just checked it on his computer at work and it didn't work there either.

It's always when I try to check out or login, and then randomly happens when I try to look at certain products.

So frustrating! I've got a huge list, I'm ready to spend some money! lol.

****I am making my first Lush UK order....actually my first online order ever.
I only get coupon codes from the NA emails. I was wondering if anyone had any promo coupon codes I could use for the uk website?
I did a google search and was unable to find any.

So i know i've said before that i used a sample of gorgeous from the mohegan sun casino store in connecticut, and it did wonders for my skin, so i bought gorgeous from the UK since it's cheaper. i purchased it about a month and a half ago. i noticed that when i got it, it didn't appear to be very full, in fact i'd say it was about half full, but other than that i saw nothing really wrong with it. lately i've been noticing a pimple here and there, and my t-zone has been getting shiney, which never happened with my sample pots.
finally i took it to the mohegan store on my way in to work, and showed it to the girls there. they sniffed it and said "THIS IS NOT GORGEOUS!" it was yellow in color and smelled very strange. i think it smelled almost like smitten but i could be mistaken.

i was very happy when they handed me a brand-new pot of gorgeous, that looked and smelled like it should have. i was also very happy how easy it was to get my issue fixed. i work in retail and often times people will come in claiming something happened to their product i know is false, so it's nice to know i wasn't crazy with my assumption that something was wrong.

after using it last night i woke up and my skin was nice and matte like it should be, not oily at all =]

Hi everyone!

I'm looking at dying my hair soon, non-natural colours. I'm wondering about a shampoo bar and conditioner that won't strip the colour.
I'm really clueless about what chemicals strip colour so I can't just go through the ingredients.
Also I'm on oramorph (pretty much heroin) for pain, and it's drying my hair out horribly. Also I'm finding my hair's falling out a little with the morphine.

So I need something that won't strip the colour and will also really moisturise my hair which will also help with any dye damage.

I've not used any shampoo bars or conditioners from lush yet so I'm new to all of this!
I love the look of that sea one as it has tons of jasmine and I adore jasmine!

I've read a lot of things where people use oils in there hair to treat it well as well. Does lush do anything like that? I am keeping my hair short whilst I'm on the morphine as it doesn't grow well and is rather unhealthy thanks to the morphine. But once I'm off that and my hair's healthy again I intend on going very long. And I read about these oils in the long hair community.

*I went to Lush the other day and got a sample of Shave the Planet, and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. Then I was thinking, I've got like three showergels and a bunch of soap samples, and I thought I could just save money and use whatever I am using to wash my body as a shave cream too. What are your favorite Lush products that aren't specifically made for shaving that you use for that? (btw, I'm a girl, so I mean for legs, pits, and lady bits :P)

*Favorite Lush soaps to use as just hand soaps?

*I'm looking for a body exfoliant after I use up my Porridge soap, and I spotted Buffy and Ocean Salt..can someone explain the difference or how you use them? All I know is that Buffy is a bar and Ocean Salt is in a pot and can also be used on your face?

The Lush at Mohegan Sun was open today. They were running the Snow Fairy deal, but they were also running a deal where if you bought $35 or over worth of Lush you'd get a free small sized Ocean Salt. They said it'd only be good until Monday and I'm not sure if it was that specific location or chain-wide, so just a heads up in case you're going to be in the area this weekend.

I am SO impressed with Lush UK!

I ordered on November 21st (I'm in Vancouver, Canada) and I got it today, the 26th!

Everything was packed in packing peanuts and was wrapped (including labels with the ingredients and instructions, which I love, because last year my dad's wife had no idea what a bubble bar was). Nothing broke or leaked. I also received samples of Snowshowers, Angel's Delight, Noubar and Aqua Marina cleanser (I had requested samples, but nothing specific).

With the exchange and including shipping it came out to $66 CAD. If I had ordered from Lush here, it would have cost me $81 CAD plus shipping, so at least $90. To have saved that much and gotten everything so fast is amazing to me.

I'm going to LUSH tomorrow and wanted to get another solid shampoo. I currently have been using Squeaky Green because I have some eczema on my scalp and they told me that Squeaky Green is good for irritated scalps. It hasn't really done much, so I'm looking to try a different one. I don't have dandruff (the eczema isn't TOO bad and it's not flaky, just itchy and slightly bumpy when it's irritated) and I wanted something that smells better than Soak and Float.

I have pretty long, naturally red hair. It's naturally wavy, but I straighten it a lot. It gets kinda "poufy" or big looking, so I'd like something to keep it under control. So I figured Seanik was out since the sea salt gives volume, right?

What do you guys think of Godiva? My hair is oily at the roots. Would the conditioning pieces make it greasy? I was also thinking maybe Ultimate Shine.

Any suggestions? Thanks so much!

Went along to the opening of the new Lush store in Portsmouth (UK) -opened today at 11am
As much as I love Southampton and Chichester, it’s great to finally have one on the doorstep.
I had a mailed lush headquarters gods knows how many times telling them they needed one in Pompey -along with a gazillion other people.
It was jam packed in there but they had some retro including magic-woohoo
As always staff at lush were wonderful despite being soooooooo busy and rushed off their lushie feet.
It was my mum’s first experience in a lush shop which I think she found overwhelming and asked me too stop putting things under her nose as all smells were lost on her after the 7th sniff.
But she really liked it in there
She did comment on how the staff were and said it would be great if all shops had staff like lush :)

I think things really kick off this evening with prize draw and music.

So despite being on a lush ban until next year I did get some things :)

I would like to buy a shampoo bar for my mom but I need suggestions on which one to buy for her. My mom's hair has been color treated and she describes it as being "normal." Any recommendations for a solid shampoo? Thanks!


I've been using Karma Komba shampoo for the past couple of weeks. I absolutely love it! My hair is no longer oily, it's very shinny, and smells great. Today my hairdresser said my hair look gorgeous and asked what shampoo I use! I would highly recommend this shampoo to anyone with hair that's a bit on the oily side. I am really happy with the results so far.

I hope that I do get the B Never Brochure that I requested.
I was quite reasonble and only ordered 2 Candy Fluff Perfumes.......and B's Large Love and Bilingual Lip Cream.

Did anyone buy So White? Does it smell like the old Timote shampoo that had an Apple scent to it, I was debating about buying some. Whats your verdict on the smell? When you get it.

As you may have read in an earlier post, I lost some of the items in giftsets I bought for friends but was able to salvage the shower gels. I decided the cheapest way to add something else into the sets was to purchase small chunks of soap for each girl. I felt like kind of a jerk having the SA cut me little 4 dollar pieces of different kinds of soap, but she was really nice (especially after I explained the demise of the original gift set items!) and super helpful when I had questions. So, to pair with the shower gels for five friends I got:

*So I've been using Lush haircare and bath/shower products, and I thought I'd start a Lush skincare routine, or at least ask for samples of some stuff next time I go in. Basically I just need a cleanser and a moisturizer. I've actually got pretty decent skin, I guess you'd consider it combination...but the only trouble spots are I get a little oily on my nose, but then I get a bit dry around my nose in the winter. I also have those teeny weeny blackheads on my nose and chin, they are only visible upclose. I almost never get pimples, except for a couple when I'm going to start my period. Oh, and I like to have sunscreen in my moisturizer, I don't know if Lush makes any of those.
*Also looking for a body lotion for the winter...my arms and legs tend to get kind of itchy. I was thinking either Dream Cream or Coco. I've heard Dream Cream is good for dry skin, and I love the smell, but I like to wear perfume so maybe Coco would be better since it's unscented.
*My legs also get REALLY itchy after I shave, I don't know if it's my shaving cream or what..maybe I could try out a Lush shaving cream too if anyone could recommend one.
*I just started using the Fresh Face Masks, I tried the Crash Course in Skincare and absolutely LOVED it. Made my face super soft. I'd like to try other ones too...just something to make me glowy and soft.

So basically, I would like any suggestions for a cleanser, moisturizer, body lotion, shaving cream, and face masks. :p Thanks!

Hello all,

I'm looking for suggestions on what to get my boyfriend for Christmas from LUSH. He enjoys using my stuff when we see each other (HIWTK, Snowcake, and Mange Too), but I know he also likes scents that aren't quite so warm and sweet. He's a skipper in Scotland so his skin is always taking a bit of a bruising when he's out at sea, or when he's home during the winter.

So, I had a big bag of Lush stuff in my closet..they were all presents for my friends, gift sets. (2 X-Mas Parties, 2 You Shall Go to the Ball and 1 Snow Fairy) I got home from the grocery store today and what do I discover when I open my door? Bits of styrofoam, soap, bag, boxes and wrapping paper EVERYWHERE. Yes, my dog ate the Angel's Delight Soap, the Shimmy Shimmy Massage Bar, and two Fairy Tail Scrubs. I was able to salvage all of the shower gels and the Icy Blue soaps that come with the X-Mas party sets, but I'm wondering what I should do now. Would I be able to exchange the shower gels and get the gift sets all over again? Or should I just something small to pair with the shower gels? AGGHH frustration. That was the best-smelling, most expensive vomit I've ever cleaned up.

I got the Marilyn hair treatment the other day for my super-porous, super-fried platinum blonde hair. I know that you are supposed to put it in and THEN shampoo and condition, but should you put Marilyn in wet hair or dry? Or can you do it either way? I've only used it once and did it on dry hair and it felt like I had to put in a TON. What works best for you...and would like to hear any experiences with Marilyn. Thanks! :)
