Just thought I'd stop on by and shout 'Hello!'  I'm a big Neville/Luna fan and have written several chaptered stories pre-HBP.  I am also of the beleif that just because JKR said they wouldn't hook up in the sixth book, doesn't mean that they won't in the seventh... Personally, I loved HBP, however, I was disappointed in the lack of Neville.  He showed so much potential in OooP and then was relagated to, "Wow!  Everyone's staring at me because I'm sitting next to Harry Potter!"  It was a definite let down for me.  Here's hoping that the next book has some spectacular Neville moments!  Since I'm new, I come bearing gifts... Clueless Clumsiness [02 Sep 2005|05:53pm] unlovedcrisis I've been a Luna/Neville shipper Luna was introduced in book 5 *nods* they seem so perfect for each other. I hate it when people saying things like "well JK sunk your ship, because she even said there wouldn't be a relationship between them in book 6" because there is the very logical answer... "she said there wouldn't be one in book 6...she didn't say anything about book 7." And it seems to me (though I have a hopeful mind) that she hinted towards them getting together *nods* Anywho... This is my current ONLY fanfic mainly because I can't work on more than one thing at a time without getting confused. I'd say it get's rated mature a few chapters in, so beware. Also, there's Draco/Ginny in it. He's very ooc, but dont hit me because theres an explination for that, I just haven't thought of it yet... And I sort of add on to Luna's life in the later chapters, because I dont know why... so please if you end up throwing vegetables at me... please use soft ones... Anyway, here I have chapters 1-5, because otherwise the post is too big. I've through chapter 7 finished, and am working on chapter 8, but with school...you know. [16 Aug 2005|04:01pm] thewriterchick [ mood | hopeful ] Hello, fellow NxL fans. ^_^ I've shipped this pairing for a really long time, probably since the end of OotP. For some reason, I've always seen them as being the best match for one and other in the series. It's weird how JKR sunk the ship, yet wrote them in some situations together in book 6. Did anyone else notice the NxL subtext? I hope so! XD Anyway, I was thinking that it could be a fun idea if we started a Neville x Luna ficathon, following the hpll_ficathon and rwll_ficathon! Even though the number of fans for this ship are small, it doesn't mean we can't show our support like the major ones. So I hope to see some more posts in this community. Both Neville and Luna are unique individuals, different from their peers, and sometimes even seen as outsiders. I doubt this will be a very popular communty, as it is a fairly unpopular couple, but they are so canon! They will most definitely happen in the books...If not by JK Rowling's ruling, than mine.
