WILL THE MOVIE/TV REFERENCES STOP IN THIS POST?
Er. No. Probably not, sorry.
The Story of Creation
At first there was Nothing. And there was Nothing for millenia upon millenia, or maybe only a second -- no one really is clear on that. But there's Nothing, until one day/night/second/century Something appeared.
That Something sort of sat there for a while before It decided It was lonely, so It created two godesses: Isene and Aria, aka earth and sky. However, this Something was sentient in the vaguest sense of the word, and while Isene and Aria loved each other more than words could say, they became lonely, too. Kinda sucked. So Aria took Isene's hand, and in the union of sky and earth six eggs were created. Three hatched to become the moon gods and godess, who sat in the sky to keep Aria company, and three were beasts, birds, and mankind to stay with Isene. The fragments of shell became Aria's birds, aka the stars.
But Isene's children were cold and began to die. Isene, Aria, and all three of the moons cried for them you know like in the first pokemon movie? with stone!ash, and the Something, which had drained part of its limitless power to create Isene and Aria, sacrificed itself so that Aesan, the sun, was born.
And that's the history of the world Avern.
Because Junny has FORCED ME to incorporate angel names: in mythology/church scripture/etc., they're the names of Aria's birds. Therefore, they're also the names of stars. Because you know, stars = birds here.Whenever multiple birds are depicted by the church, each are completely different in appearance and in various sizes. The largest star in the sky is Seraphiel, which is depicted as a phoenix. The rest are various types of both real and fantastic birds. Constellations are ... er. Anything you feel like. The administration does not condone names such as Aesan's Package, however.
