Hello and welcome to Lucky ☆ Icontest, a place where iconists can join and compete against each other. Are you someone who loves the series Lucky Star and loves to make icons and compete to see who's the best or just compete for the pure fun of it? Then this is a good place for you. Iconists of all skill levels are welcome here.

Even if you aren't into image making, you're also welcome to hang out here and watch the competitions and just vote~ Just please be sure you read everything on this page so that you won't be totally clueless as to what's going on when you begin to participate :3

x Your icon must be brand new, or at least never shown before
x Do not advertise your icon and beg your friends to vote for you

x All images from the game, anime, or manga are allowed as long as they are related to Lucky Star and official
x Livejournal standards apply to icons: must be no larger than 100 x 100 px, and must be no larger than 40 kb in file size
x The amount of icons allowed per theme will always be specified and may vary

x You must be a member of the community to vote
x For now, if you submit, you must vote. If you can't for some reason then please say so in your submission comment~ This rule may change after we get more members.
x Your votes should look something like this:

x Please don't vote for yourself, let's give everyone a chance to win~ Besides wouldn't you like to feel like you won based on what other people think, and not just 'cause of what YOU say?
x Voting should be based on artistic quality, relevance to theme, and anything you feel that should be considered in addition to these
x As of August 16th, 2007, there are 5 places available: first place, second place, third place, special category, and mod's choice regardless of amount of submissions

Do keep in mind that most of us do have lives, and as humans certain cirumstances arise where it's impossible to be able to post these on time. These times are just a guideline, a basic idea of a good time to post.

When there are less than three submissions to a theme then an extension will be held and a new theme will not be posted. If there are still no more entries, then the voting will be posted regardless and the places available for winning will be modified as needed. More than likely the special category and mod's choice will be dropped.
