AboutThis was created as a place for friends of mine who are interested in sharing short stories about their lrp characters and others in a shared space. It is not restricted to Drabbles (100 word short stories) but any short story you feel like posting.

Posting Guidleines
1) Subject line should say the system and characters.
2) Cut long posts so if people are not interested in that system they don't have to read it.
3) Please bear in mind some posts may contain information you do not know if you play the game so please do not take things you shouldn't know as knowing IC.
Tagging Guidelines
* Tag characters, groups, challenges and subjects. Tags describing the type of drabble - 'specfic', 'impressions' or 'slash' for example - are great too. Other tags are fine, but please consider whether they're going to be useful to the browser.
* Check your spelling. A sizeable number of our tags are misspelt. Please check, as these stop avid would-be readers from seeing your work and create lots of hassle for overenthusiastic mods.
* If in doubt, follow suit. Sometimes it's difficult to determine whether to tag a character as their full name or common name, with accents or without. Have a look at what other people are doing (search the community by tag) and follow suit. The mods will correct any tags that fall outside convention. Conform!
* Use the preamble for preamble information. Things like FOIP warnings, times that fics are set, whether it is a fic exchange and other such minutiae are best expressed in the preamble around the cut. Please avoid putting this information in tags.
* Avoid comedy tagging. Please allow your dazzling wit to shine forth from your posts and comments instead. Comedy tagging costs lives.
* Wrongfic should be tagged 'wrong'. Our community seems to produce a veritable onslaught of horror and smut, comedy and otherwise. The diversity of brain-melting content is matched only by the variations on 'wrong' used to describe it. Please simply use the 'wrong' tag, to keep the horror contained in one place.
* Do not tag 'maelstrom'. This is an exception to the community rules; given that the community almost exclusively writes about maelstrom but many fics omit the tag, it currently serves little purpose. Please continue to tag fic for other systems.
