AboutThis community's intention is for members of the LPU [Linkin Park Underground] to gather on LiveJournal. If you are a member of the LPU, or are planning on joining, then this community is strictly for members such as yourself.
This community, like all others, has rules. Please be sure to take careful note of what is and is not allowed here.
Rules:
+ When posting pictures, you must use an LJ cut. Posting pictures outside of cuts makes the community load slower.
+ If you choose to share icons you made with the rest of the community, please feel free to do so. Simply don't forget the LJ cut. (:
+ There are to be absolutely no homosexual references directed at anybody as an insult. Although you are welcome to state your opinion, please keep your negative feedback on homosexuality to yourself.
+ We would greatly appreciate it if you took your 'mad insult skills' elsewhere. Don't start to bitch and whine over nothing, and do not attempt to prove yourself superior to others. A serious insult will result in a warning from one of the maintainers. Three warnings, and you will be banned from the community.
+ Please do not pick fights. If someone insults you and it is not in a joking manner, do not try to start something with that person. Notify one of the maintainers, and that person will recieve a warning.
+ Insulting a maintainer will result in an instant ban.
+ Just to make sure that you have really read the rules; on your application, there will be a section entitled 'Master.' You are to put 'Froggie' where it states 'Master.' Again, this is to ensure that you have read the rules. You will not be accepted into this community if you put anything else but 'Froggie.'
+ Sexual discussions are alright, so long as they are not [too] graphic.
+ If you feel a strong need to post quiz results, kindly place them behind an LJ cut.
+ Within a week of joining, an application must be posted. Do not get the wrong idea; while anybody can join, it is best to let people know who you are and what you're about. Until you post one, you are not allowed to comment on other entries, nor post new entries.
+ Cuss words are allowed; simply do not direct them at anyone. Refrain from 'flaming' people, and you'll be alright.
+ If you are banned, kindly remove yourself from the community.
+ Although not all posts here need to be Linkin Park related, this is not a dating service. Keep this in mind.
+ Do not make posts telling new members to put you as the one who referred them while signing up with the LP Underground website. You will be instantly banned, despite your status in this community.
+ Members are allowed to advertise their sites or communities; however, do not abuse this feature.
+ Do not delete your application. Do so, and it will result in an instant ban.
Contests:
We will hold competitions for things such as new layouts, icons, or banners. The steps that are to be taken towards submitting something for a contest are as follows -
Icons and Banners:
E-mail one of the maintainers with your masterpiece. Please note that it must be your icon or banner. Thievery will get you banned.
Layouts:
This, we're afraid, will not be as simple as what is to be done with the icons/banners. When presenting layouts to the community, please take a LiveJournal account that you do not use. If you do not have one, then create one. Take the coding, and force the layout onto that journal. E-mail the link to the journal with the layout to one of the maintainers.
The maintainers will decide on the three [in case there are more than three] entries that are most appealing, and post their decision. It is then up to the members to decide which of the three is best for the community.
