Well I haven't written something for a long time right?^^

Ok uhm
First of all... I passed all of my final exams ^_^
And I even got better in math (Which is weird lol)... Well my psychology mark got worse but hey...
Who cares about psychology ...
Stupid subject

And tomorrow I'll get my certificate. Actually I don't know what I should wear tomorrow since it's the graduation ceremony.
Hum...
Dunno ^^

And what else?
Ah yeah
Tokyo was gorgeous.
It's so totally different from Europe. Like... the atmosphere and culture and everything...

And no the rumors about Japan aren't true. Like "You shouldn't do this and that and this..."
Even Japanese people do that kind of stuff...
And uhm *thinks*
It was very hot...
31° degrees and very sticky

And the people there are sooooo nice ^_^
Although it's a little problem if you don't speak enough Japanese XD

They don't talk in English (or German) to you
But ... even though my friend and I got lost the people were so kind and helped us always. ^^

Really... You all should visit Japan. ^_^

I never thought about death until, well, today.

I knew it was coming and I expected it but then when it arrived I still wasn't prepared.
Im fucking miles away from where I would have needed to be because his wife didn't like. England.
And yeah, that's fine, it's not that nice and and Russia is their home country so maybe they'd have been happier?
And they were, until recently.

People see dying in your sleep as peaceful. Or easy, even. But right now it seems anything but that?
Such as not physically being able to eat for 8 weeks.
That's not peaceful or easy now is it?
No. It sucks.

I know what people say.
He's happier, he's not in pain anymore, he's with my dad's mum now.
But that dosen't make it easy.
It dosen't stop my dad, my brother, his brother, my mum and our whole family wishing it didn't happen.
Sure, he was 84.
But he's family. And it hurts.

At 11pm Tuesday night.
My grandad passed away.
RIP.

As of late I find myself, drifting further and further into the recesses of my slightly fractured psyche. As the days go on I'm finding myself withdrawing from the world around me with relative ease. And at the same time my outlook on life in general has taken a drastic turn. It seems that senility and cynicism have begun to run rampant. On top of that difficulties in which I'm striving to return to school [my mother constantly harping over my wasted potential, apparently my actually having a steady, albeit shitty undermining job isn't enough to keep her off my back] though she does have a point. Hence, this small update, as I was saying my disgust with the world, society, people, humanity in general has brought alarm to my few friends that I have left, i.e. the ones who don't currently reside within my head. I've never been an optimist, but this is getting ridiculous...

Here's an update of the books I read in June. Between barely working and being on vacation I was extra productive!

I'm not going to give them all a review because the mysteries are all routine (mysterious, witty, British!), Night Watch is part of a series, and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn has a million reviews already and they're all better than what I could write. However I will rank them on a scale of 1 to 10. 1= a total crapfest and 10= mind blowingly awesome

Night Watch-Sergei Lukyanenko 6 (with a possibility for upgrade if the rest of the series helps clarify it)

The Mysterious Affair At Styles-Agatha Christie 6.5

Death In the Clouds-Agatha Christie 7.5

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn-Betty Smith 10

God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater-Kurt Vonnegut 8

Sparkling Cyanide-Agatha Christie 7.5

->

Hey all I'm back from vacation. I know, it's ludicrous. I lose my job and my first order of business is to go on vacation. But it was planned in advance, I swear!

Anyhow, I went to South Carolina with the family for a week of relaxation on the beach. It was good times! Sunshine, booze, boardgames, reading, fancy garden tours, endless celebrity deaths.... that's how you do vacation right! Uh...except for that, "endless celebrity death" part I suppose.

Anyway I'm officially putting SC on the list of states I fantasize about moving to when I'm done with school. I'm giving them a slight handicap though. I had forgotten this because I haven't been in the south in about 10 years or so but......no one drinks coffee. I was ready to cut a bitch for some iced coffee, I can't even TELL YOU. I don't NEED 300 kinds of iced tea. Yes, I can get down with iced tea don't get me wrong. But what I NEED is some motherfucking coffee. I'm used to New England and the Mid Atlantic which at least have DD and Starbucks every 100 feet. I've also been spoiled by several visits to the northwest where there is GOOD coffee to be had wherever the hell you go. It's like gourmet coffee pours out of the faucets there! But the south? No luck. I did however have a fucking delicious lemonade so it was not a total bust on beverages.

I have vacation pictures to post but I'm too lazy to get them onto the internet right now so instead I'll list some of the wildlife I saw:

starfish
crabs
herons
eagles
alligators
river otters!
many other waterfowl
2 kinds of foxes
turkey vultures
normal gray squirrels
freakishly large gray squirrels (Seriously, this thing was the size of a cat, we were horrified)
scary mongoose looking things I later found out are another type of squirrel

Oh and in case you're keeping track here's the current list of, "Places I magically can move to when I'm done with school"

South Carolina
Maryland
The mid-Atlantic/coastal south in general
California
Oregon
Washington
Vancouver/British Columbia (I'm totally not opposed to becoming Canadian)
NJ/NYC area

Sorry to those folks dwelling in the mid-west/southwest......you have no ocean and thus no employment opportunities for me.
