I wrote yesterday that I'm inundated with new technology. This could be problematic as I just failed big time at using the microwave. Either that or I'm going blind.

Recipe for Coffee Fail

1) Take mug of room temperature coffee, place in microwave.
2) Attempt to set it for 45 seconds. Set it for 4:50 instead.
3) Clear the wrong time and try AGAIN to set it for 45 seconds.
4) Double check it.
5) Press Start
6) Return to table and read your Morbid Tuesday email chain.
7) Approximately 2.5 minutes later realize the smell of burning coffee is permeating the kitchen.
8) Run to microwave, see coffee boiling and spewing out of top of mug.
9) Stop microwave, open door. Grab pot holder to prevent searing your flesh on the now super-heated mug.
10) Clean up sea of coffee from microwave plate.
11) Wait approximately 30 min for coffee too cool down to a drinkable temperature.

I am overwhelmed by technology lately! It's my own fault, I jumped in the deep end but now I'm going crazy from all the beeping and blinking and new things to search for on wikipedia. SIGH.

1) Got new phone. Decided to pretend I'm a trendy teen and I got an Eris Droid. It is fancy and flashy and has crazy sounds and it's run by Google so that probably means it has already implanted a chip in my brain while I was sleeping. It does have lots of fun applications! I think my inner nerd was truly revealed when the first one I downloaded is a task manager/to do list app. SIGH.

2) Due to my intense level of procrastination I have teamed up with a buddy from gradstudents  to try and get work accomplished over break. Yay for Getting Things Done For America^TM
However this has me debating what technology might be useful. Google Wave? Does anyone use it? What is it exactly? The google website is not specific enough for me (I refuse to watch the epic video).

ECONOMICS
Look for a news article about LABOR, and INFLATION, and paste on a used short bond paper. Give a brief reaction by applying concepts we discussed (in class.)

 Hello! To all my friend or whoever stumble upon my LJ MERRY XMAS  to those celebrate it :D I hope all of you will spend you time with your love ones.

Today, I am happy becoz I managed to finish a gift to my recipient in secret snowflake. I joined the activity in dbsg . It's late already, I know. Life is so cruel to me latelt. However, I managed to finish it :D SO, I should email to my recipient to tell her so that she knows. Tomorrow is a public holiday so I just can post it next week. I really forget that tomorrow is a public holiday :( Mianhae, scattered_depth , your gift will arrive in your mailbox a bit late :(

YES, it's finally here, and you can't imagine my happiness. Although I am one term closer to the dreaded HSC, so during the Summer hols, I'm planning to finally relax and do the stuff I've been meaning to do all year...like read and get more writing done. So far, I've been working non stop since it's Christmas season, and because the cafe I work in is located within a shopping centre, it doesn't close till real late. So most of my days have been spent working for cash to spend on boxing day. On my days off, I've managed to finish reading Graceling by Kristin Cashore, and yes, I did quite love it. It must have been the whole adventure aspect of the story, since I haven't read fantasy for awhile, and it's so hard to find a good YA fantasy with just the right amount of romance anywhere in Sydney. Maybe I just don't know where to look.

I've had another story idea floating around my head for awhile this past week, so I'm pretty eager to finally putting it down and bringing it to life. It's basically a really complicated little story (not really) involving robots and stuff. Yeeeeah. ;D Oh, and yeah, Avator = pwoarrrr. Like, the 3D and images were pretty much awesomeee. Wowowowow. And Zombieland was pretty awesome too, I must say. Way scarier than Paranormal Activities. I have no idea what the hype for that movie is. That shizz bored me to death. Totally a waste of my money.

And yep, that's the update on my life for the past few months. School pretty much sucks. Yep.
