AboutBeautiful Nemesis is a community for those who have an interest in love between foes. If you are one of those people who believe that animosity can be an aphrodisiac, then you'll fit right in here!
We welcome fanfiction of all ratings and varieties (no self- or original character-insertion fics, though, we beg you!), pictures and fanart, discussions on the nature of the thin line between love and hate and rivalry leading to romance - whatever you'd like, so long as it has to do with rivals lovin' on each other!
By all means, tasty het, slash, femme, and polyamorous stuff is invited and appreciated. Rare fandoms are positively clamored for!!
The rules are fairly simple: you can tell if a pairing belongs in this community by following the four A's: Animosity in Attitude, Action, or Affiliation. That means that technically, even if a pair gets along all right but they're on opposing sides of a cause, it works here (although we'd prefer to see hissing and spitting!). Also: try not to go too far off-topic, no Mary-Sues or self-insertions in the fanfiction arena (unless you're writing original fiction or "creative non-fiction", about something that happened to you or people you know IRL), show common courtesy to other members. Sarcasm and teasing is allowed, but please don't take it too far. Outright rudeness will not be tolerated; if you vehemently disagree with someone or dislike them, I ask that you practice restraint in your dealings with them (this is a community about love between enemies, so let's reflect it!). And please, please, please try to type like you have some knowledge of the English language - none of this "u" for "you" or "r" for "are", or any of that nonesense. It just looks silly.
Other than those, just use common sense, and we should all get along just fine. If you have any questions, please e-mail the head moderator.
