While there is no July chapter in ZeroSum there's still something to look forward to this month. On July 19th Ichijinsha, the publisher of ZeroSum, will release a LOVELESS bunko (light novel) under the shoujo bunko label Iris. The story is written by Natsui Aya and is based on the manga (we'll have to wait and see just how much it will follow).

Bunko/light novels, are Japanese novels with anime/manga style illustrations. They are usually turned into manga and anime or, in this case, based on them.

Although this is really only good news if you can read Japanese, I thought it's significant enough that LOVELESS fans would want to know about it.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that Yun Kouga is doing the illustrations for the bunko, which is probably part of the reason for the lack of ZeroSum chapters. Hopefully we will have some brand new illustrations from this. :)

EDIT 2: The title is 『LOVELESS 泡沫の絆』 which translates to "Ephemeral Ties/Bonds". Each volume of the bunko will have a different title rather than being numbered 1, 2, 3, etc.

I'm sorry to be always the one to bring bad news, but there won't be a new chapter in July's issue of Zero-Sum.
Kouga Yun says in her webpage that she is really sorry and that she is preparing a longer chapter for the next issue.

Unfortunately, there is no May chapter in ZeroSum of Loveless. Kouga Yun doesn't say why, but she deeply apologizes in her journal, and is really sorry because is the 6th anniversary of the magazine.

Today I received my volume 8, and after making a speed-reading I found that Kouga Yun re-draw an scene like she did in volume 7. Again, this was because Soubi's scar.In zero-sum we saw a chapter about how Soubi and Kio made friends, and Soubi didn't have his neck bandages. This bandages were added in the volume edition.

Anyone found another change? I didn't have time to check everything ^^u

Hello!  I'm new here but I've been a huge loveless fan for a year now.  ^_^   I checked previous discussions to find the answer to the below question but all I found was the posts about Soubi's piercings in relation to his scars.

For the life of me I can't figure out what's going on with Soubi's scars.   He has Seimei's "beloved" carved into the base of his neck and then above it, the barbed wire-looking scar.  In Volume 7. which one was Soubi referring to when he said that it was a "sign of ownership?"  Also, at the end of the same volume, Yun Koga talks about how she made this big mistake but only the readers of the magazine saw it.  Does anyone know if that's related to the scar issue?

I'm really sorry for being such a noob on this.  I would really appreciate any help!

Here's the November chapter scans. Man, lots of Zero-Sum series have been ending all of a sudden -- what is it now, four? Five? I wonder if there's a reason. We've already passed the general time frame that volume 7 was announced in last year, too, so maybe volume 8 won't be announced til next year.
