We received several comments here in the site and, most of all in our community of people saying that the news about Jensen directing the 100th episode is not true. What I see is that thre’s a lot of confusion about that!
Facts are these: This news has not been confirmed nor approved by official sources so, it could bew true or just a rumor. None of those two options are official so far.
As I said in my previous entry, I found this news on Supernatural Hunters Addicted and it seems that they had the same confirmation/denial issues with Supernatural fans. Everyone seems to know which is the truth but facts are that EW.com reported that:

Case in point: Supernatural will celebrate its milestone 100th episode this spring with an hour focusing largely on Dean (Jensen Ackles). ‘We’re aiming for it to be a big mythology episode,’ reveals Supernatural boss Eric Kripke, who adds that ‘the archangel Michael plays a very large part as we explore his relationship with Dean.’ And it’s all capped off with a cake-cutting ceremony hosted by Lucifer!”
So if I refer to that little article, looks like that info was just a rumor… Which would be REALLY weird as TWoP is one of the most reliable sources on all things Supernatural… And I insist on that, every single info they’ve been posted about our show turned out to be right ! So… Maybe they got the info from somewhere/somebody else or… I don’t know…Now…we’ve only to wait and see! The only thin g I can say is that I hate when sites starts rumor like that and create confusion into the fandom and we’ll never ever be that kind of site! We only want to say things as they are so, as soon as the confirmation7denial will arrive we will post it here immediatly but, so far, facts are these!
Thing is… And I’m sorry to say this… But I think we should wait for more infos to come out and when I say “More Infos” I mean “More OFFICIAL CW Infos” and don’t worry as soon as we get news about this whole “Directing” thing, you’ll be the first to know…
All we could do for now, was tryin’ to settle things down… So to conclude that article…
The info saying Jensen Ackles would be directing the 100th episode of Supernatural hasn’t been officialised yet, So please keep in mind that this might be just a rumor… Sorry for the inconvenience…

As fans know, Supernatural's 100th episode is coming up in the second half of this season, and it's sure to be a big one. While there aren't details on the exact nature of the episode, the new issue of Entertainment Weekly does have one cool bit of info about it.
According to EW, the 100th episode of Supernatural will featureJensen Ackles ...behind the camera! That's right, Ackles will be directing the show's big 100th episode.
It will mark the first time Ackles tries something other than acting, unless you count the fact that he was credited as a producer and assistant director for the short film he appeared in, The Plight of Clownana.
The real test will be howJensen Ackles does directing himself, and whether stepping behind the camera means the episode will feature less Dean than normal.
This isn't the first time an actor on the CW is stepping behind the scenes. In fact, it happens quite often on other shows. On Smallville, Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum and Allison Mack have all directed episodes. On One Tree Hill, Chad Michael Murray, James Lafferty, Sophia Bush, Bethany Joy Galeotti and Paul Johansson have all directed.
The big 100th episode of Supernatural will most likely air sometime in March 2010.

As you all sadly know, this Thursday’s “Abandon All Hope” will be the last new episode of 2009. We now know exactly how long this Hellatus will last, with season 5 continuing Thursday, January 14. In other words, eight whole weeks of no new Supernatural. So get ready to hibernate, and as soon as you get that new 2010 calendar, mark the date.
