love_of_fate is a Buffyverse/X-files crossover. That means we will be admitting characters from Buffy the vampire slayer, Angel, and The X-files on a limited basis. The story is set:

Early 6th season Buffy, Willow's spell to resurrect the slayer failed and Sunnydale is slayerless. The scoobies try to keep the hellmouth under control on their own, but they've got little more than a hit and miss Buffybot and when Spike suddenly disappears, they've got no choice but to call in the big guns.

And the big guns arrive in the form of Angel and partial crew, who team up with the scoobs to keep the forces of darkness at bay. (Early season 3 Angel so Gunn, Wesley, and Fred are possibilities)

But the hellmouth is meant to be guarded over by a slayer, and when one arrives, she brings a whole new kind of trouble along with her. And it's very possible that it's a kind of trouble that no one in Sunnydale is ready to deal with.

1. Posting once a week is required. If you want to post more than that, it earns you big brownie points. If something comes up in your real life I'm super understanding if I KNOW ABOUT IT. Not posting slows down the game and hurts us all.

2. I'm worse than an English teacher, so please use grammar and spell check out of respect for your own work and the work of others. Initial posts should also be at least three paragraphs long, I don't care how long your comments are, but keep in mind it's nice to give the person you're tagging something to work with.

3. Some communities have very inactive ooc communities. Ours is not one of them. Important information will be posted regularly and you are responsible for checking for that information. Our ooc is loveof_fateooc.

4. I hate to tell anyone how to run their characters, but important note to live by- characters cannot be killed off without the writers and/or the mod's consent. Also, be realistic about your character's limitations. Perfect characters are boring characters.

5. we're not accepting original characters right now.
