"Do you ever wonder how long it takes to change your life? What measure of time is enough to be life altering? Is it four years like high school? One year? An eight week rock tour? Can your life change in a month, or a week, or a single day? We're always in a hurray to grow up, to go places, to get ahead. And when you're young, one hour can change everything."-One Tree Hill
You take a snapshot of your life the last time you leave someplace, and, I don't know, it's dumb, but you think it's never gonna change. -Party of Five We're conditioned to think that our lives revolve around great moments. But great moments often catch us unaware-- beautifully wrapped in what others may consider a small one.
If you're feeling frightened about what comes next, don't be. Embrace the uncertainty. Allow it to lead you places. Be brave as it challenges you to exercise both your heart and your mind as you create your own path towards happiness, don't waste time with regret. Spin wildly into your next action. Enjoy the present, each moment, as it comes; because you'll never get another one quite like it. And if you should ever look up and find yourself lost, simply take a breath and start over. We might be laughing a bit too loud. I'm sorry. It's just that we're best friends and we can't help it.
You're the peanut to my butter. You're the star to my burst. You're the M to my M&M's. You're the pop to my tart. You're the milky to my way. You're the fruit to my loop. You're the milk to my duds. You're the cocoa to my puffs. You're the ice to my cream but most important you're the best to my friend.
You have been my friend. That in itself is a tremendous thing. After all, what's a life anyway? We're born, we live, we die. By helping you, perhaps I was trying to life up my life a trifle. Heaven knows anyone's life can stand a little of that. -Charlotte's Web
You spend 12 years of your life trying to learn how to live, but everytime you try to live in those 12 years you're wrong, Then everyone you've grown to love is taken away and scattered. That's what they should teach you, how to say goodbye
Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't & believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, then let it. Nobody said it'd be easy they just promised that it'd be worth it
It was one of those, can't breathe-heart stuck in your throat-weak in the knees-butterflies crashing against your rib cage-collapse to the floor swooning, "oh my god, is this really happening?!" moments
To let go isn't to forget, not think about, or ignore. It doesn't leave feelings of anger, jealousy, or regret. Letting go isn't winning, nor is it losing. It's not about pride. It's not obsessing about or dwelling on the past. It isn't about loss and it's not defeat. To let go is to cherish memories but overcome them. Letting go is having the courage to accept change, the strength to keep moving. Letting go is growing up.
When we were little, life worked perfectly. No matter what happened, everything turned out alright in the end. Scraped knees, canceled play dates, dropped ice cream cones-- we would cry for a short time, but by the end of the day, everything would be perfect. And now as we've grown older, we've lost the faith as we stumble through each day, crying over broken hearts, lost friendships, and lost dreams. It seems like life and perfection have turned their backs on us, but really its just that we've grown up. As children we didn't pay attention to such details about our daily lives, but now we are more aware, and little details seem to be amplifying our pain. But just remember that when we were younger, life was hard too, but we had faith in perfection because we could look past faults. So don't lose your faith. Learn to know that each day will pass, each heartache will be mended, and everything will be perfect in the end. Just keep your faith.
"It's the people who hug you and never want to let go, the people who you haven't seen for months, but nothing has changed at all, the people who give to you more than you give to them, the people that truly understand who you are, the people who you cry about, the people who you live for, the people in your photographs that have light genuinely shining through their eyes and their smile, the people that take your breath away."
"A true friend won't question your motives, will hug you just because they can sense that you need it, will never fall for your famous false smile that fools everyone else, will let you listen to your favorite song over and over in the car even when they don't like the song, will tell you the truth even when you'd rather not hear it, and will never leave your side, in good times or in bad ones, now don't tell me you think you find people that are that special to your life everyday."

"Most of our life is a series of images. They pass us by like towns on the highway, but sometimes a moment stuns us as it happens and we know that this instant is more than a fleeding moment, we know that this moment, every part of it, will live on forever" – Lucas, One Tree Hill
"IDA Scott Taylor wrote: 'Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone, and do not be troubled about the future, for it has yet to come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering.'"-One Tree Hill
There are moments in our lives where we find ourselves at a crossroads. Afraid, confused, without a roadmap. The choices we make in those moments can define the rest of our days. Of course, when faced with the unknown, most of us choose to turn around and go back. But once in a while, people push on to something better, something found just beyond the pain of going it alone, and just beyond the bravery and courage it takes to let someone in, or give someone a second chance, something beyond the quiet persistence of a dream… because it's only when you're tested, that you discover who you are, that you discover who you can be. The person you can be does exist, beyond the hard work, faith, belief, and beyond the heartache, and fear of what lies ahead… - One Tree Hill

"Life isn't about keeping score. It's not about how many people call you and it's not about who you've dated, are dating, or haven't dated at all. It isn't about who you've kissed, what sport you play, or which guy or girl likes you. It's not about your shoes or your hair or the color of your skin or where you live or go to school. In fact, it's not about grades, money, clothes, or colleges that accept you or not. Life isn't about if you have lots of friends, or if you are alone, and it's not about how accepted or unaccepted you are. Life just isn't about that. But life is about who you love and who you hurt. It's about how you feel about yourself. It's about trust, happiness, and compassion. It's about sticking up for your friends and replacing inner hate with love. Life is about avoiding jealousy, overcoming ignorance, and building confidence. It's about what you say and what you mean. It's about seeing people for who they are and not what they have.
