AboutRead the Rules BEFORE You Join! 1. All posts must contain an image of a male actor from either any of the three Lord of the Rings movies by Peter Jackson or the upcoming movie "The Hobbit". Yes, this means all posts. Any off topic posts or posts without images (or a link to a page or post with images) will be deleted at the moderators' discretion. If you want to remind everyone about so-and-so's upcoming TV appearance, post it in ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} lotr_ontv.2. Images posted here should be full-sized images, not icons. Please do not post icons here; instead, please post them in ringactor_icons. Any icon posts in _daily will be deleted. 3. Please respect others' taste in actors, and don't bash any actor. And for the love of Pete, don't flame each other. We're ogling hot manflesh here; why be nasty? Flamers will be banned. 4. If you're going to post more than one image or if your image is more than 500 pixels wide, please use an lj-cut tag for the wide pic or any others after your first pic (or second, if they're smaller than 300 pixels wide). Everyone on dial-up will thank you. Any images that are sexually suggestive or that contain nudity should be put behind a cut tag. Some folks do read from work, and we don't want to get anyone fired. 5. DO NOT link directly to images on other people's servers unless you have their permission to do so! Upload the images to your own web space and link to them there. If you need a free image host, try Image Bucket or Image Venue. Don't know how to post pics? Please read this FAQ. 6. Do not post advertisements in this community, especially if you're selling stuff that's infringing on copyrights. You can be sued for it, and I don't want this community involved. And, by definition, it's spam. So don't do it, mmkay? Check out one of these other communities to promote things: rpg_promo, rpgads, community_ads, comm_promotionNow, those aren't too horrible, are they? Please follow them. Failure to read the rules (especially with that gigantic note up there at the top) is not an excuse for breaking them, especially the "every post must have an image" rule. The moderators reserve the right to delete the post without warning. Repeated rulebreaking will result in permenant removal from the community.
