_% THIS COMMUNITY IS ELITE, which means only the best of the best LOTR fans may join. think you are worthy enough? all you have to do is fill out an application...but before you do that, please read our rules and guidelines. we wouldn't want anyone to be embarrassed. >:)

RULES

_% you must love The Lord of the Rings, both the books and the movies.

_% if you tYpE LiKe ThIs, then TURN BAAAAACK! if your lj is filled with squees of how HaWt tHaT eLf DuDe iS then the same goes for you. this community is only for those who take LOTR seriously. you have been forewarned.

_% you must have read at least all of The Lord of the Rings, or are almost finished with it. this community contains spoilers for all the books, since we are assuming that you have read all of them. (however, certain spoilers for ROTK must be under an lj-cut.)

_% you must fill out an application appropriately. if the majority of the people say yes, then you are accepted and will be "stamped" by moi. a minimum of 10 people must vote on you before you can be accepted or rejected.

_% you may not change your answers in your application after posting them. if you do, you will automatically be stamped as "rejected".

_% you can NOT comment within your application thread. if you comment, you are automatically rejected.

_% if you are not yet stamped as a member, you may not post or comment on other posts. your posts and comments will be deleted if you're not a member.

_% when you are accepted as a member, please post as friends-only. however, this does NOT include applications to join or mod-posts.

_% if you are inactive for over 2 months, you will be deleted from the community. every member in this community is being watched by a Members Manager. the only exception is if you recieve a pass from the moderator. to recieve a pass, you must email likewhateverrr@aol.com with a good reason explaining why you will be idle. if permission is granted, you will be excused from deletion.
