By tomorrow, we'll open it up for new posts on the finale, and the season as a whole. Remember, though, that all spoilers will still need to go behind an LJ cut.

And a reminder of a few other things:

• We don't post fic or icons


• Fanart is ok to post, but if it's over 300 pixels wide, it should go behind an LJ cut


• We're not accepting fanmix posts with linked music, because of the legal issues


• Videos are fine, but again, behind an LJ cut. NOTE: this doesn't mean full episodes. Clips of things, fanvids - that kind of thing - those are ok.


• Which brings us to - the only discussion allowed on lost_tv about full episode download is that confined to ABC.com or iTunes. Again, legal reasons :D

sideshowkat and I want to thank you all for being a great community all this year, even with the stress of the Writer's Strike and a shortened season. It's always gratifying to go through one of our episode discussion posts and not see any naughty behavior! Lost fans are the best, really :D

  iTunes is offering free downloads of last season's finale of Lost as well as a free "Lost Survival Guide."

Does any one know if ABC is going to continue putting the new episodes for S3 on their website for the week following the intial airing of the episodes, like they did for the second  half of Season 2? I only ask because I recently moved into a college dorm, and none of my room mates brought a TV. I don't really watch TV that much, (Lost and House MD being the only shows that I watch)... If I miss House, that's fine-- I can always catch up through DVDs. But if I miss Lost, I'll go batshit. I really don't feel like bittorrenting each episode every week, and I enjoyed the convienance of the website. So has anyone heard anything concerning that?

Something I just found out earlier this week: my local ABC affiliate allows you to watch the current episode on their website. Go to WFAA.com and make your selection, and you should be set! Four eps are already availible for viewing, including last week's (if you missed it).

And in the latest issue of CosmoGirl, in the "Freaky Deaky" section (about creepy stories and so on), Daniel Dae Kim talks about the house he rented when he first went to Hawaii.

The Disney "Inside the Magic" Podcast today reports that ABC will soon start to offer its TV shows like Lost and Desperate Housewives for download straight from their website. They will be available in 4 show blocks and will be advertisement based. You will have to FF through the commercials but it will be a free LEGAL way to catch up on shows you have missed. Disney currently offers these shows through Itunes at $1.99 an episode. The podcast did not say if the shows would still be available on Itunes. It also did not give a launch date on this new service but I thought it would be beneficial to let the Lost fans know so we can be watching for this.

Hey, anybody know when tonight's episode will be available for download on iTunes? I was working tonight and just made it home. I was going to download it but it's not up yet. Do we have to wait until it airs on the west coast or something?

I was wondering if anyone knows how soon does iTunes get the new episodes of the shows you can download from their site?

I bought the all 9 episodes but still anxious to see Wednesday night's episode but iTunes doesn't have it available yet.

Anyone download other current shows from itunes that can give me feedback?
