I thought people might want to know that I saw the Lost action figures marked way down in price at a Kay Bee Toy Store yesterday (May 3). I was at the Kay Bee store in Carousel Mall in Syracuse and they were selling the action figures for $5.98. They only had Sawyer, Jin, and Eko in stock, but I thought people who are in to collecting might want to know about it. I'm assuming the same sale would be going on at other Kay Bee stores even though it's not on their website.

I picked up a Sawyer figure. He's now hanging out on my bookshelf with Obi-Wan, Aragorn, and Malcolm Reynolds. ;)

Greetings folks! I just wanted to share a blurb and a link with you. McFarlane toys is wondering what to do with the third wave of the LOST figures as the first wave was overproduced and clogged shelves and the second wave didn't see nearly as many stores and as a result, sales were iffy. The third wave was set to be released next month, but it has been delayed. This wave consisted of Sayid, Claire, Desmond, Henry Gale and a boxset of Oceanic 815.  

However, the wave is in limbo as MCF decides what to do with it: make them as a wide release, an exclusive somewhere or just to junk the entire line. Somebody on the spawn boards created a petition and while it was slow at first, several of us have spread the link around as much as we can and it's jumped to about 1300 sigs within a few days. The folks at MCF have told us that they're monitoring the petition and while this promises nothing, every bit of support helps.
