I'm looking for people who might have known either Miki, Manda or Aria on Shadowrun Seattle MUSH about half a decade ago. If you fall into this category, please leave a comment. :)

The list is too long to recall, but I was Threnody all over the place from 1994 to 2004ish on various WoD MUSHes.

I ran A Hint of Malice as well as Whispers and Dark Secrets.  I was Threnody and Siren on Dark Gift as well as innumerable characters.

Shallow dragged me back onto Metro after years of World of Warcraft only... just curious if there are some familiar faces out there who stumble across this list from time to time.  Say hai.

Hello all,

Are there any PokeMUSH (Pokemon Evolutions) players around? I've dug up and rehosted our old website (Wacky logs! Ecchi AI staffer! Lots of fun!), which made me wonder what the former players were up to nowadays.

Leave a comment if you used to play! I'd love to hear from folks again.

This is very weird, because it's been years and years since this kind of thing has been much of a part of my life.  But I found myself getting nostalgic, and realized that a computer crash a few years back wiped out all my old files, so there's nothing to moon over when I get in the mood.  It feels like one of those heist movies where they drag someone out of retirement for one last job...

I guess mostly I'm just looking for logs and records; it's just been for-frigging-ever, and I'd like the window on all those people I used to be, you know?

So here's the rundown:
Harper's Tale:  Selir, Elera
Star Stones:  C'riad
Crypt:  Marco Agrippa
Aether:  Dante, Calpurnia
A Time Endless:  Marco, and wiz Argentum in the second incarnation

Other than a couple brief exceptions, I kinda quit after that.  Heaven knows I hope I've grown since then.  But I'd love to wallow in history for a minute, you know?  Seeing this community just got me in a mood, I guess.

So I just got done perusing STACKS of printed scenes and saved logs from the days of yore of CryptMUX and wonder what everyone is up to.

I was the following characters:  Ahra, Sionell, Emilie, Markjenka, and the eventual MUXWiz - Apathy.

Hello everyone that is still out there.  There is one thing I have yet to see a game replace in this age of graphics is good and true literary-like role play.  *Nostalgic Sigh*

Wow, what an excellent LJ community to find!

I played pretty much only at DarkGift. Wilson, Herb and Boda Five were some of my long time characters. Also was Iridescent Judge (maybe had to shorten it to Jdg?) for some time, too.

My goodness, that was some years ago, though!

Subject:Crucible City
Security:Public

So I was sitting here proof reading my post and it hit me that I hadn't even bothered mentioning the most recent games I played.

Crucible City - I don't quite remember the exact date I began playing this, but it was my brother (who played Jason Marksely in Children of the Moon) who got me into it.  I ended up creating a super hero on this game called Bastian (Spriggan) and spent most of my time at King Academy.  This is a more recent game so I remember quite a few players I ran into.  Haley, RachelleGeir to name a few.  There really isn't much to say about this one, I guess.  It's not exactly in the category of nostalgia just yet.

Crucible City 2 - I guess eventually the original closed down and a new one opened.  On here I created Will but I cannot for the life of me remember his codename or his last name.  It's been quite a long time since I even thought about it.  But I do remember the second character I made on here which is a little more recent.  A year or so ago maybe.  Brandon otherwise known as Riposte.  I guess apparently this game closed down because, here in Iraq I still have internet and I tried to log in the other day and it didn't work.  I don't think the wiki site works either.  Oh well.

So anyway, just to add a couple more games so I don't forget!  The funny thing is, I remember more about the games I played over a decade ago than these two, which I played over the passed couple years before I joined the military.

Again, this is my contact information, feel free to hit me up if you recognize me.

Subject:Looking For Players...
Security:Public

I was just sitting here on my bunk in Iraq (I am currently a deployed soldier) thinking about the games I used to play a long time ago.  So I started poking my nose around google to see if I got any hits on such old games as Bloodgeon MUD, Children of the Moon, etc...Lucky me, I ran into this community.  I don't do a lot of gaming of this sort anymore due to lack of time, deployment and also the institution of online games, but it would be nice to talk to old friends that I, in essence, grew up with in a way.  So here is a list of the games I played and a little information about them.

Bloodgeon MUD - This was the absolute first game I ever sat down and figured out how to play.  I was a very s l o w typer and it was this beginning that sharpened my typing skills.  I don't remember a whole lot about it, not even the name of my character, but I remember one player who took the time to teach me how to play.  His name on there was Dai.  (I later found out it was a girl, if memory serves me correctly.) She was pretty much the best PKer in the game (I don't think anyone argued this, she commanded a lot of respect - grudgingly), but happened to take me under her wing and teach me the ropes.  How long ago was this?  Hmmm...it had to have been when I was...12 maybe.  I'll be 27 in 4 months so that must have been a bout 15 years ago.

Lurking Fear 1 - After Bloodgeon MUD shut down, I began playing this MUD.  My first character was named Whiteriver.  I cannot believe I actually remember that, but I'm remembering a whole lot now, lol.  The names that pop into my head now of players I once saw on this game are:  Kickback, Grudge, Venom, Ladykate (I think?)...  There are many others, I just cannot quite put my finger on it right now.  I remember the guilds...I think...they are barely on the tip of my tongue.  As I write more about this, I remember  my characters a little more.  More characters I played on Lurking Fear 1 are: Vapid and Anthem.  There are many more names I cannot seem to remember swirling through my head with this MUD, I guess I will have to think about it more and update this later.  I was about...12 - 13 years old when I played this MUD.

Lurking Fear 2 - At some point in time, Lurking Fear 1 ultimately closed down and Lurking Fear 2 was opened which, if I recall, was a GodWars style esque MUD.  I personally preferred Lurking Fear 1, but oh well!  I played a werewolf on this game named Vapid I -think-.  I'm not sure, I know I was around 13 or 14 when this game began.  I don't really remember much right now as to who played it, but I do remember that a lot of my buddies from Lurking Fear 1 played this one as werewolves with me.  Although some went to play Vampires too.  It was around this time that I also started playing another game...

Children of the Moon - Now this game is, perhaps, my ultimately favorite game I have ever played.  I never did know what happened, but ultimately I guess it just shut down.  This is, perhaps, the main reason why I began this nostalgic quest to search for players I used to know.  There were three characters I ended up playing on here.  One was Timothy Fitzgerald Falconcrest.  A werewolf (garou) of the Wendigo tribe.  I worked very hard on him and if I remember correctly, he ended up /nearly/ making rank 2 (it's been a decade since I played this, if my time is correct, and equally long since I played world of darkness games at all, so I may be incorrect here) which, if I remember, is called a Fostern.  Tim's other name was Winter Heart, which is what he was referred to as in more formal situations.  I remember spending a long time with this character, ultimately running into good friends over the time I played him such as:  Guinevere (I do not remember how she spelled her name), Tweety, Krill, Robert, Weasel, Heris just to list a few, but not by far half the names of players I developed long standing friendships with.  Of course, I cannot forget my own older brother who also played this game, his character's name was Jason Marksely (if I remember correctly).  Anyway, after a year or so, I created another character named Nicholas Jacob Morningkill.  This character was probably one of the most difficult apps I ever wrote a character biography on.  It was this sort of stuff that sharpened my writing skills to what they are today.  There were actually three players in CotM that most directly affected Nicholas' day to day life that I would love to run into again and talk to.  Miranda, Robert and Misty.  I know I mentioned that I created a third character...but even now as I sit and think about it, I just cannot put my finger on what his name was.  These two previously mentioned alts were definately my most noteworthy though.  I know I haven't mentioned all the names of players I want to find, but these are the only ones I can remember off the top of my head.

So, if any of you know who these mentioned players are, or happened to be one of them, know how to contact them, or just happened to play the same games as me, feel free to contact me.  I'd love to hear from you for no better purpose than to chat.  It gets boring as hell out here in the middle of the desert and I have a long way to go before I am coming home.

I know I was just a kid when I played this game and most of the people I probably played with were adults, but I can almost say, in a way, I was raised by these people.  My home life wasn't one of the greatest, which is probably why I spent so much time with my nose in the computer screen.

Been lurking in this community for a few years and haven't ever seen anyone who caught my eye, but I got a little nostalgic today so thought I'd cast out the nets and see if any of my old fellow-players are still around. Prime playing time was roughly 1995-2001, and this list is by no means exhaustive.

Castle D'Image: Kyriel/Mistral
PernMUSH: Kylandra (High Reaches/Telgar Weyr)
Enchanted Path: Ky'rinn
TalesMUX: Kindra (I'm particularly interested in getting in touch with Lancelot/Pandoria if the player or someone who knows him is reading this)
Cajun Nights: Lily Devereaux (blue-haired Glass Walker galliard)
Fear and Loathing: Lola/Lady Gryphon/assorted mage NPCs
Treyvan: Can't remember my char's name, but she was a half-elf, either ranger or fighter/rogue, who hung out a lot with a gnoll paladin named Formendraug.
Silver Skies: N'veren

I'm looking for a friend of mine from college (AZ) who played an anthromorphic raven named Lenore (possibly not spelled that way). I remember her real name, but out of respect I will naturally not post it. She could reply here, via contact in my profile or look me up in the phone book if she remembers my name (which with how public I've been about my Alts she might be able to do...) because I can be looked up in the phone book for the city our shared college/university is in.

Hello everybody. I'm looking for a few friend friends from the past.

First, a friend from Canada, initials MB; artist and MUSHer, he was Colossus@GXM and Nightcrawler@PXM, he also did the following picture (among others) for me...

Picture of Blue@GXM with Colossus@GXM )

Second, I'd love to say "hi" to Trish Tilby from "Classic" X-MUSH, to be honest I don't remember our RP, but the fact that I remember RPing with you says something (my memory is not great unfortunately, the list below is only so accurate as I kept a list of those that were important to me).

Thirdly, I'd like to reconnect with a friend from England (real first name starts with P). He was the headwiz of XTulu MUSH but I forget his staffer name there.

So, who am I... I've been MUSHing since 93 or 94. Early years were focused on WoD and X-MUSHing, I've been on Amber MUSHes, SW MUSHes and others. I can't remember all of them, but here are the ones I do remember...

I was doing my annual google search for my old mush and stumbled across this. Figured I'd join and post and see what happens.

Avant Garde: Chance

What a great time and great memories.  Played from 99 to the end in 03 or 04 or whenever it was.  Worst thing about its closing down was that all the logs and stories were lost as far as I know.

Looked into a few other mushes from time to time but none seemed to have the qualities (story, maturity, fun, players) that made AG such a great time.

Well, here's a shout in the dark . . . . I haven't been able to connect at all recently due to a narsty firewall, but I'm still working on it. Hopefully this will help people find me if they need to:

Cajun Nights: Mortimer
Hogwarts Express: Wilder
Shangrila: Malachi, Lexington, Austan, Servus
Serenity: Lucky

But that is now--this was then . . . MUSHes from long ago, and probably the only place all of my alts will ever be together:

Texas Twilight: Griffin, Darien Fraser, and Beast (ST)
Granite: Scampi (ST), Clayton, Dean, Nim, Jesse, Luke, Diana, Paul, and a bunch of others
Mercyground: Paul Morse

Drop me a line if you happen to see this.
