Okay, so I'm very behind with maintaining -- well everything, including my own journal. I know I've been a bad mod these past few months, and I want to get that back on track.

So here's my (tentative) schedule:

Monday, May 12th - Put up prompts, for another round, that will go until the 1st of June.
June 1st - Second round of prompts/challenge of some sort, if you guys can think of anything cool to do
July/August - Second ficathon???

I also plan to round up all the fics you guys did for the ficathon a few months ago and make the links readily available. toestastegood emailed me a code a few months ago that I've neglected to update and put up because I've been having my own thing going on for awhile, and keeping me away from here.

So, what do you guys think? I'm open to suggestions.

Lost Femmeslash Fic Battle Begins NOW

All you need to do in order to compete is pick a prompt, write it, and then post it as a comment to THIS post.

The Rules:

1) It has to be new work. No old fics are accepted.

2) Fics must be 4300 characters or less to be able to fit into a comment. If they're longer, please post your most femmeslashy bits here, with a link to the full fic in your own journal entry.

Ficathon - Leave Your Prompts

Alright, I'm going to go on good faith, because I seriously doubt I'm going to get any response otherwise.

I'm accepting prompts for ALL Lost femmeslash pairings from now until March 1. I get 50+ and this thing happens. Otherwise it's just a shot in the dark I guess. I'm really at a loss for what to do with this comm so I'm trying a little bit of everything (yeah, I'm a control freak).

So here's how this works:

- I am accepting prompts, to be left in this post, from now until March 1st at midnight EST
- If I get enough then a list of prompts will be posted to this comm on March 1st, sometime midday.
- You will have until March 10th to write your little hearts out.
- You can write as much as you want and prompts can be used multiple times
- You don't have to leave prompts in order to write, and you don't have to write in order to leave prompts. You can do both, or just one or the other.

Prompts are to be posted in this format:
Pairing, prompt word

For example:
Shannon/Claire, lace

Sound easy? Hopefully it is.

Urgent: Possible Ficathon

So I've got a proposal to make. Keep in mind this is just me trying to make this comm more active, so bear with me here.

What if we were to do a ficathon? Like the porn battles that come out every year, but all ratings, all pairings excepted. One week you'd be able to leave prompts and then for the next week you could write for those prompts? It would only work if we had 20+ people participating so I really need to know what you guys think.

Please comment if you'd either like to leave prompts or write for them or both.

Again, just an idea. Nothing is set in stone yet.
